Still no sign of rtd Smile tentatively cos pretty convinced it's coming!!

Lou I'm trying to pluck up the courage to start running. Is the couch to 5k thing good?? I've heard lots about it, and thought about it lots, but never got round to doing it...

I know what you mean about being very grateful for the children you have. I was thinking that yesterday once dd got over her grumps and was her normal sunny self, bless her. I never dreamt ttc would be so wearing. That's the only way I can describe it!

Loujalou · 06/09/2010 13:57

Pants that is pants.

Need to phone FC and rearrange appointment. Am now thinking I am lucky to have one beautiful beautiful little boy and I don't know any more. Tis just heart breaking. On a more positive note am loving running and can now run 8 mins x 2 with a 5 min walk in between. I now have to run 20 mins with out a break this couch to 5k rocks. Only 4 weeks ago I was struggling with one min run and 90 secs walk in between now look at me.

Kat - yes come and join us! Welcome Smile

Umbongo - sorry rtd go you. Did you google dhea? What do you think?

I'm cd28 and have horrible crampy pains so thinking rtd is on it's way soon. I've got some evening primrose oil to take from cd 1.

Just had lovely roast dinner cooked by dh, bless him, grumpy 4yr old and watching XFactor repeat as missed most of it last night.

Hope you're all having a good weekend.

NOTHEROLDIE · 04/09/2010 17:46

Yes KAT we need a few lucky folk so we can all 'catch' pregnant from each other.

(must bring cake, cheap plonk and dress like a chav) Wink

Loujalou · 04/09/2010 15:40

Kat are you joining us?? We need some fresh blood!

Umbongo am in exactly the same boat as you my first rtd came today, it doesn't seem quite normal so far but was told to expect that. I was also hoping I'd magically conceive without having a period first.

Googled the epo think I will give that a whirl this month.

NOTHEROLDIE · 04/09/2010 10:43

Sorry to hear RTD came again UMBONGO :(

I found my first RTD was different (heavier and longer).
Now my cycle is so regular, (before it was anything from 28-35 days), and I used to have bad period pain, now theres no pain but its much heavier and longer.
Dont know what they did to me with the ERPC but its certainly got me flowing! Sorry TMI.

We're going to be back on the bonking bus soon. My Dh is loving it!

Have a good weekend all. :)

UmBongo · 04/09/2010 09:34

RTD arrived this morning, I was rather hoping it wouldn't a) so I would be pg again and b) so that I could tell the midwife my last rtd was 20th April!!!! Never Mind. Oddly I don't feel too down about it this month. Don't know what to expect as the mc info says that your first rtd will be different to normal, could be heavier, could be lighter! Once more I sail off into the unknown!!!

[Off to google dhea]

Loujalou · 03/09/2010 23:31

Its been deleted though. So he claimed it was from shares. Wouldn't be a round amount if it was.....

Been hooked on the mysterious £20k thread.
Makes baby making small fry in comparason. Luckily I have a trustworthy DH and don't worry what he does with his/our money. (hes as tight as me!!) :)

harassedinherpants · 02/09/2010 20:17

youngy epo = evening primrose oil and dhea = dhea!! Lol, meant to be some kind of super strength age repelling miracle according to my googling. If only!!!

NOTHEROLDIE · 02/09/2010 17:39

Whats epo or dhea?
I get so confused with all the acronyms I sometimes read a whole post wrong!

LOU hope the job sit. isnt as bad as you fear.

harassedinherpants · 02/09/2010 17:06

Ah Lou that sounds rubbish! When will you know? My company has been sold twice, and I kept my job both times, so fingers x'd (sorry no way am I crossing my legs!!) for you.

No bfp here and I'm on cd25 now. Poas stick last night as we went out for a meal and got a bfn, so had a couple of glasses of wine Wink. Really don't think it's our month, and I don't feel pg at all. So now I'm looking at supplements.

Have any of you tried epo or dhea?? Was thinking of giving epo a go for sure, as things can get a little dry at times down there .

Loujalou · 02/09/2010 13:57

Right I need some sambuca shots to keep me going. My company are looking at selling up and I might not have job. The work is not the most interesting but I get to work part time from home so would be gutted. Also, TH his job is looking shaky. Will all be ok but bit stressed now. That's the problem working in finance you sometimes find out things you would rather not know..

Anyways onwards and upwards. I had completely unplanned SFF this morning and it was fun. Go me.

How are the rest of yous? Any BFPs yet?

Youngy - This is awful thing to happen at the family party. I think you were amazingly strong. How lovely to have a newborn cuddle, sounds like your friends really deserved their tiny lo.

Lou - belated happy birthday!! Hope you had a fab day, and saved some cake Grin.

Umbongo - I'll just call all the branches dh, he's annoyed me today lol.

I am so hormonal it's not true. Swinging from all happy and upbeat, to wanting to cry my eyes out, and there're bloody pg women every flippin' where........

UmBongo · 01/09/2010 09:06

Congratulations to your friends on finally managing to achieve their miracle! And well done you! Maybe the inner calm will stay with you and help infect you with a baby too!!

NOTHEROLDIE · 01/09/2010 08:22

I had a cuddle with a newborn. I wasnt jealous at all, I was impressed tho, (I had forgotten how beatifully made tiny babies are!)

The reason I wasnt jealous AT ALL was beacause this teeny baby was a long awaited IVF miracle. After MC IVF twins :( (I don't know how they coped with that) this baby was so precious.

I feel I have nothing to complain about, my moans each month at RTD time are nothing in comparason. I was awash with joy at seeing someone with a miracle baby. :)

I will have to sit and calm this happiness in me down... most unususal for me! Wink

UmBongo · 31/08/2010 21:28

Happy Birthday To Loujalou, Hope you have had a good day, can I share your cake? Thanks. I hope you have been spoiled rotten all day (rather than the usual first 5 minutes of the day!)

Oh Oldie Its bad enough dealing with everyone upto and including the postie saying isn't it time etc, etc, which you can choose to shrug off or tell the truth to, but to have that to deal with all the time AAAAaaaaargh! I am really sorry you have to go through all that, I have only had to tell someone once so far that I had mcd who knew I was pg (well after the first heap of people!) I think I would loose the plot on a far more regular basis if I had that to cope with, especially 3 months down the line!Shock

Pants I hope the day in the office wasn't too bad, I have to admit to being a dinosaur SAHM so I don't have to deal with office politics as well as everything else! Hope you are OK. Well done on the pruning, my mum has a tendency of naming branches, then chopping them off! She finds it even more therapeutic that way!

NOTHEROLDIE · 31/08/2010 17:51

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO LOUJALOU
HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO YOOOOOU

Look I baked a HUGE calorie free virtual chocolate fudge cake, with clotted cream and fudge sauce.
And lashings of ginger beer!

Hope you had a good day! Grin

Loujalou · 31/08/2010 17:39

Big hugs Youngy that is crappy. Calories don't count on days like this.

Its my birthday and calories don't count then either so why I am going on runs and eating grapes. AHHHHHH!!!!

OP posts:
NOTHEROLDIE · 31/08/2010 17:11

Right.....

I was at a big family & friend get together catching up with folk I haven't seen in years, when a friend of the fam's came over.
In a loud booming voice said " congratulations, sorry its a bit late etc, blah blah, blah, "

I was thinking 'what is she on about?'

Friend : do you know if you are having a girl or boy this time?

I shrivelled into my chair and whispered ' I lost it'

friend: Eh?

Me : I guess mum didnt tell you I MC in may then?

Friend totally humbled and apologetic : Oh I'm sorry etc etc.

I just wanted to disappear, (firstly punching my mum hard in the face). I only told one friend and very reluctantly my mum I was pg in april. Less than a week later I MMC. She in that short week told EVERYONE, but neglected to tell them I had MMC.
I was wild, humiliated and pissed off.
I then got comments of "oh are you having another one?"
"NO I'M JUST FUCKING FAT OK?" ( I didnt actually say that bit I just wanted to shout it to everyone. ) Angry

My blood is still simmering, and I just cant say anything to my mum (she has the thickest skin like a bloody rhino, and a 'oh well' attitude)

Can I feel crap and eat myself silly in the pit?

harassedinherpants · 31/08/2010 10:30

We had a massive spider last night, scared me to death!

Me and dd jumping on the sofa screaming, and dh pretending to be brave and catching it in a glass. He's not that keen either but has to look brave compare to us screaming girls lol.

A day in the office today ........Biscuit.

NOTHEROLDIE · 30/08/2010 22:24

Autumnal indeed and ruddy huge spiders coming into the house to freak me out.
