Yaaaay!!! One day I don't check on here this week and look what happens!! So pleased for you Youngie Grin

Big age gaps rock...my lot are 21, 19 and 4 and I have a 1yr old grand-daughter.

No news from me. CD 25 - no af symptoms and no pg symptoms.... will test tomorrow as we're going out and I fancy a voddie or too. If I hang out with all the chavs and get madly drunk then I'm guaranteed a bfp..right??!!!

I'm knitting me a cardie, then dd a hat, then a blanket for new niece due in Dec. Then hats for new niece, 4month old niece and grand-daughter for Christmas. Love knitiing at the moment Grin.

NOTHEROLDIE · 30/09/2010 08:16

Fairy you're hanging around in the wrong park obviously. You aint chavvy enough!

I worked out it will be due a few weeks short of 20 years (yes twenty!!)since my first baby!! I had my first at 22 1/2, this one I'll be 42 1/2. Heck thats scary. Confused

Fairygodmother1 · 29/09/2010 19:28

Yay!!!!! Youngie!!!!!

I know why it aint happening to me...I'm in a far too stable relationship, it's not with some random bloke or with someone else after a break up (rebound shag I guess I mean), or the fact that I aint been given an important role at work that I need to prove myself & will be letting people down or in a job where being pg is not expected!!!!

Rant over...

Glad you're doing well Iced

x

NOTHEROLDIE · 29/09/2010 19:17

Thanks LOU,

It might be catching like for the chavs.. so watch out....

I really hope it is a sticky one, I would give up otherwise

Oh p.s I havent told DH yet!!
so keep schtum!

Icedlemonmuffin · 29/09/2010 19:17

Sickness much better (touch wood) got a bit of a bump, midwife measured bump today and measuring just right. It's plotted on your own individual graph according to your bmi. 24 weeks now and she kicks like mad. We've started talking about when to buy the pram do we get it before Christmas or just after. I can't make decisions now I'm pregnant!

Lou I tried knitting and managed to make some lovely scarfs for dds teddies!

Oldie all things crossed for a quick and boring eight months.

Loujalou · 29/09/2010 18:56

I need to learn to knit. Congrats Youngie lets hope its a sticky one. I have got all my fingers and toes crossed for you.

OP posts:
NOTHEROLDIE · 29/09/2010 18:56

Thanks :)
How are you? Has the sickness improved at all?

Are you getting a good bump? etc etc

Icedlemonmuffin · 29/09/2010 18:54

Woo hoo! Congrats OldieSmile

NOTHEROLDIE · 29/09/2010 18:47

well... are you seated comfy-like?

I did another test today... still only a feint line but DEFINITELY A BLINKIN LINE!!

So I'm going to say...

BINGO!! :)

I won two lines!!

Get knitting everyone.

(I really hope AF doesn't arrive now cos I might look a bit stoopid)

Icedlemonmuffin · 29/09/2010 18:35

Bloody hell Oldie my blood pressure can't take it!!!

Loujalou · 29/09/2010 18:25

OP posts:
NOTHEROLDIE · 29/09/2010 17:02

Gather round......

NOTHEROLDIE · 29/09/2010 11:42

No news yet, still no AF, which is fab :)

But drove to 3 bleedy supermarkets and 2 of them didnt have Pg tests can you believe it? and one had roped off ALL the mother & baby parking spaces, (like 10 of them!) and were removing them!!!
So I didnt feel like driving miles to find a place to park in the pouring rain, so came home and ate chocolate instead.
Will go into Boots later.

Perhaps we could all knit a square each and make a huge blanket?

Loujalou · 29/09/2010 09:31

So Youngie any news?

Knitting yous lot is hard core. When I win my babyyyyy you can all knit a nice blanket!!

OP posts:
NOTHEROLDIE · 28/09/2010 21:00

Knitting! I love knitting but haven't done it for years.
So what you knitting, warm woolly jumpers? or baby clothes???? Grin

I decided to re-arrange the DC's room, shifting beds and chests of drawers. However I should've checked that it would all fit in the new places and it didnt, so had to shift more stuff from our room to get it in. Did the room shrink in the process?
Then I had to move all clothes from room to room, went and made dinner, forgot, then went to put DCs to bed and had to find them under the mountain of junk I had unearthed. Bad planning Confused

harassedinherpants · 28/09/2010 20:12

Youngie -fingers crossed Wink!

He may have lots of stamina but it's not helping with elusive bfp!!!

He took up boxing earlier this year and is training towards his first amateur fight hopefully in November. He trains 4 times a week and goes out running twice a week, and has lost 2+stone. Very proud of him, but it doesn't leave much time for me to do anything Hmm.

So, what you all up to?? I'm chilling on the sofa watching tv and doing a bit of knitting.

Loujalou · 28/09/2010 18:25

Got my fingers crossed for Youngie.

FairyG hope you're better soon.

Pants am jealous if your hubby's stamina. Mine needs to get fit.

Anyway went for a run today and feel good for it.

NOTHEROLDIE · 28/09/2010 16:59

3-4 times a week, you lucky thing. Pre-seed must be your friend!

I'm a day late... and admit to being a bit excited,

harassedinherpants · 28/09/2010 15:43

Youngie that means there's still hope!! What day are you on?

Fairy hope you're feeling better now.

I've lost count in the shagathon, but we generally fit in 3-4 times a week, sometimes more. Thank god for very fit dh!!

I'm on cd23, and don't feel the urge to test..... don't think it's my month again tbh. Looking forward to a night out with dh on Friday watching MMA (mixed martial arts) and boxing.

NOTHEROLDIE · 28/09/2010 15:36

p.s. BICNOD I'm impressed with seven so far :)

LOU and with your five. Wink

fairy have a recouperation shag

umbongo and pants where are you in the shagathon?

Keep those pom-poms waving.... its going to be a lucky month :)

NOTHEROLDIE · 28/09/2010 15:30

Wellll....

I tested but it WASN'T positive, but... when I went to put it in the outside bin in daylight I thought I saw (when peering like a mad lady at a stick) a really feint line.

BUT, this was ages after I had 'read' the result.

However I haven't come on yet so I'll say it was inconclusive.
And continue to wait, do another test tomorrow.

What do you think about my feint (but after the time limit) line, and I mean REALLY feint as it you wouldnt normally see it unless you were hoping there was something there. IYKWIM Confused

Loujalou · 28/09/2010 08:04

[Puts on cheerleader costume and gets out pom poms]

Youngie are you there? You can't just tease us with that info. Saw you on the embarrassing youth fred and you made me snigger. My mum could never do french plaits and I always wanted one!

Biccie 7 - that is impressive. Am on a promise for tonight so should get to 5 and its day 14 so was quite impressed.

OP posts:
Bicnod · 27/09/2010 19:45

Oi Youngie - what news?

Fairy :( boo to stomach bugs. Maybe a gentle shag for medicinal purposes this evening?

Louja I am Envy of tan, it is frikkin freezing here . Shagwatch eh? Well we're on 7 so far this month and I'm on CD19 so might fit in a sneaky bit of SFF before RTD turns up next week.

Pants hope you survived the DSD this weekend. And feel free to rant away - everyone in my world is pg too and it's just not bloody fair :( Angry

Umbongo scary how quickly they grow up isn't it? Hugs for pre-school form sadness.

Fairygodmother1 · 27/09/2010 18:44
