Fairy - some friends of mine have set up their company selling these lovely wooden and educational type toys. They're gorgeous!

Fivealive - there was lots of wine involved (as always Grin)!

Am feeling rather smug at all the swi'ing that dh thinks is sff. 4 days out of the last 5 has got to be a dam good effort!!!! Thank god for preseed........

Fairygodmother1 · 17/10/2010 19:17

Was gonna click 'like' - I'm obviously in facebook mode!!!!

UmBongo · 17/10/2010 19:15

Oh well, as long as the toy party involved alcohol!!!

Fairygodmother1 · 17/10/2010 19:01

I think we're all a bit disappointed by the toy party Grin - is it like a swap party or something?

I've had a fab b'day weekend. Roll on next weekend when it's my party!!!!!

Youngie I hope it is a winner for us!!!!

harassedinherpants · 16/10/2010 21:32

Youngie I learnt last week that morning sickness is caused by vitamin b deficiency and is nothing to do with hormones! My kinesiologist reckons that if when I get a bfp she can get me through sickness free, which would be amazing seeing as I had 24/7 sickness for 5-6 months with dd. And happy birthday!!!

Unfortunately the toy party was kiddie toys............dam!!

Loujalou · 16/10/2010 10:24

Youngie it seems to be the the birthday fred at the moment. So happy birthday to you. My friend did not have symptoms for ages and then they hit her hard. My mum was pregnant for about 6 months before she realised.... and she was a science teacher and it was her third as well.......

I got the Boots one in case we ran out Wink but it didnt get opened.Pre-seed did the trick. I'll Keep it for the next time!

Hope its a winner for you too Fairy :)

Still no pg symptoms except sore boobs.
Not a whiff of nausea, nor tiredness. Bit worrying, but GP wasnt bothered. May go for a private scan again (its good to have friends in the right places, even tho its bloody miles away) as they wont offer me one here.
Where I used to live there was a walk in clinic in the hosp, take a ticket and wait type thing if you were worried at all. Here there isnt.

Anyway its all me, me ,me. Sorry about that.

Have a fab wkend every bobs. x

Fairygodmother1 · 15/10/2010 21:35

It's like preseed but from Boots. Saw it in my dad's News of the World magazine a few months ago & thought I'd give it a go! lol. [hmmm]

UmBongo · 15/10/2010 20:54

Happy Birthday to everyone!!!!

What is a toy party? whose toys?Shock

Rtd should be on the way tomorrow, so I will start to limbering dh up!!!!! [off to amazon for some preseed I think!]

Cheersh FairyG and all! What is Conceive plus?

Fairygodmother1 · 15/10/2010 20:29

Umb I'm kinda glad cos it means I can really celebrate & not have to keep 'mum' (ooh the puns are coming out tomight) about being up the duff! The positives are that I've lost 3lb this week - so chuffed. I never feel jealous one the babies are born. It's the pregnancy that brings out the green eyed monster! Congrats - niece's & nephews are the best!!!!

Lou What did you ask & what did he reply???????? Now I'm jealous!!!!! Wink

Harassed a toy party? Lol

Thanks Youngie Happy b'day to you too!!! Yeah best people born in October (or am I bias?) I'm so excited. Had a fab pre-b'day day.
Yes - who's holding the pom poms this month? We've got Conceive plus - very watery. Hope it works.

xxxx

NOTHEROLDIE · 15/10/2010 12:31

HAPPY BIRTHDAY FAIRY :)

October seems to be a good month for b'days (mine passed by this week, kept it quiet being my second 21st) yikes.
Have a good sat night and go wild, I understand its the big 30, where you turn mature and all sensible overnight. Best years my 30's I reckon. (wipes wistful tear from eyes)

pants so its sneaky SWIing, good idea!

As for getting pregnant, its all about whos waving the pom-poms, pree seed and the right chav outfit to pull one of the terribly fertile lads down the park. SHIMPLE!

harassedinherpants · 15/10/2010 10:19

Rofl laughing @ Lou, don't faint! You'll make him cry!

fivealive - congrats on new baby niece Smile.

bewitched - ours started last night Confused, dh has got no idea lol!!!

Having a toy party tonight and looking forward to lots of wine and gossip with the girlies Grin.

Loujalou · 15/10/2010 09:58

Anyway my top tips in getting pregnant:

Decide that working full time would not be a bad idea if I got pregnant - Check

Relax, well I went on holiday but DH and I might both be getting made redundant.... - half check

Have sex when it wasn't SWI time and actually enjoy it because we were on holiday and did something different - check

Only having two shags during my fertile period and having to force cajole DH into them - check

No temping, opks etc just a cursory glance at cm - check

Appointment with FC - Check

On the plus side DH is going to take me on holiday if we ever need to try for another monkey!

UmBongo congrats to your brother, my brother and SIL had their second DC a couple of months ago and he's gorgeous Grin - I wasn't jealous either (which was a relief!)

Well the shagfest for this month starts tonight Confused

UmBongo · 14/10/2010 22:48

Way-hay Lou well done, congratulations! More good news today, I have a new niece and am chuffed to bits for my brother and I don't think I am jealous!

fairyG sorry the ertd got you, I have a new bottle of whisky you can share!

I have had a better day today, no meltdown! But on the upside, dh got embroiled in Mondays meltdown and I did manage to suggest that sex is one of the well known causes of babies!!!

Fairygodmother1 · 14/10/2010 19:35

Bewitched & Lou Thats they only thing thats made me happy - being able to get legless on Saturday. I'm spending some time with DH during the day. Clubbing with the girls in the night, lovely day planned with DH on Sunday & Next Saturday is a big party with Family & friends!!!! I'm so stupidly excited!!! Grin Everyone can't understand why I'm so excited.

Well it's only month one of the Metformin & I had a cycle of 3 weeks without bleeding so thats almost normal. Apparently it takes about 2 months to get Metformin working properly.

So lots of cake & chavvy alcohol on Saturday. I'll leave the pit & we can have a good old knees up!!!! Ooh shall we have a halloween party too?

BEWITCHEDnod · 14/10/2010 19:27

Fairygodmother1 · 14/10/2010 19:09

Well after my okey cokey of in & out the pit I'm def in!!!!!!!! Sad ERTD here big time!!! My turn next month...how many of us left for baby bingo?

Last day of my 20s tomorrow...hoping 30s will bring me luck! Wink

BEWITCHEDnod · 14/10/2010 18:23

Oh Louja, you've just reminded me how scary the 1st trimester is - keeping fingers and toes crossed that you've got a sticky one. As pantslady says, this can happen (it happened to me with DS and he's very definitely here) x x

Loujalou · 14/10/2010 18:17

It was the smallest amount of blood and am sure the same happened last time. I e-mailed Lia who has had lots of babies and she says as long as I am not in pain or have cramps etc it should be ok. Nothing since earlier anyway.

DH & DS have arrived home so will post later.

harassedinherpants · 14/10/2010 16:17

It will be ok!! You know this can happen, and it doesn't necessarily mean anything is wrong.

My aunt had monthly af all the through her prg - strange but true!! Bit like my aunt!

Loujalou · 14/10/2010 15:57

Argh just had a tiny bit of blood when I wiped. Can someone tell me it will be ok.
