I'm going to book me a doc appointment and get some tests! If I book now I can get my own very lovely but very popular doc at a time and dateto suit me Grin.

I am obviously doing it wrong. Less jumping and more falling on cock. I knew I was doing something wrong!!! Wink

Very busy weekend: we did fireworks and kiddies disco and than back to a friends on Friday evening. Yesterday I had my 6inches off my hair so it's now a long bob then we had a black tie do in the evening. Was a lovely party but ended with a nasty arguement between two close friends Sad. Today I've chilled - ok, slept on the sofa most of the afternoon lol.

Youngie - thinking of you sweetie xx

UmBongo · 06/11/2010 11:49

Pants I think the opks tell you that you will ov in the next 24-36 hours. Can't quite remember, I have NEVER got a pos off the ebay cheapies, possibly cos I pee more than 4 hours apart! I am ov'ing cos I have had blood tests to say so!

Lemony I love your "fell on a cock" comment!!!!

I know we are doing it wrong - the proof of that is no 2yr old wandering round my house like there should be if we were getting it right!!!

Loujalou · 05/11/2010 12:25

Iced I think I am always a total cow!!!

Icedlemonmuffin · 04/11/2010 21:43

Pants I was always a total cow the first couple of days of rtd arriving and I could of just beat the crap out of dh who was really positive that the next month would be the month. (Still feel like beating the crap out of him some days, I blame hormones, I have to live with them as well as him)

Fairy I really hate the 'whoops I'm pregnant people', they act like they fell on a cock by accident and ended up pregnant and I hate the people who say 'can't believe it took you three years to get pregnant, it only took us one month!' they look at you all sad and like you must have been doing it wrong or something.

Fairygodmother1 · 04/11/2010 18:51

Iced Just pissed myself laughing at you scan lady comments. DH is giving me odd looks!!!
Lou I will dig out my Sex Ed books & get to work!!!
Apparently according to another thread harrassed

harassedinherpants · 04/11/2010 16:37

thanks Lou!!

Ok - dumb question. Does an opk show that I'm "actually" ov'ing??

Loujalou · 04/11/2010 09:14

fairyG I think you should do a campaign for teaching people how babies are made so they are not so surprised that they win one. Also need to stop people posting everything on FB. Think I will avoid it this time!

I had a 4D scan and DS looked like an alien. Wasn't really a fan like DH - he wants another one if we get that far. DS was beautiful when he was born (obviously) but the 4D scan made him look ugly. We were worried! Well not really but you know what I mean.

Pants here are the sambucas - lined up for you to drown your sorrows! It will help you forget! Grin

Biccie you braved it to the ante-natal boards yet? I am still avoiding them.

Lemon - lol!!

Well I'm out for another month. Feeling very Sad this month, think it's really starting to get to me now. I've got no patience and yelled like a banshee at dd this morning, so feel even more Sad at that. I'm at my desk and have a boring meeting to look forward to, but feel like dissolving into tears, grabbing dd and going home. Except that dh is there with a bad back with has effected his voice.......

Sorry, I'm a miserable cow today xx

lia66 · 04/11/2010 08:10

completrely lol at scan lady muffin glad it went well, and you feel better about it. :) x

Icedlemonmuffin · 03/11/2010 22:29

I should have said the baby looked real and active, it sounds like I'm talking about the scan lady! It would have been odd if the scan lady kicked herself in the head.

Icedlemonmuffin · 03/11/2010 22:26

Fingers crossed Pants!

The scan was amazing and well worth the money. The scan lady was wonderful and didn't rush at all. We came away with a 20 min DVD and loads of pictures. She looked so real and was very active, she even kicked herself in the head. She has the same nose, mouth and long fingers like dd.

I was really nervous before the scan but really glad we went, dd just loves watching the DVD.

witches · 03/11/2010 21:59

Nice to hear everyone's news hoepfully we will all get to post good news in the near future! I have heard lots of people say they imagined symptoms and could well be wishful thinking but my increidble burping episodes seem to have been down to pregnacare as they have now stopped! thank goodness Wink Fairy i have thought recently that its amazing anyone ever gets preggers when there is such a short amount of time each month it can happen! lucky people who manage it without trying! Envy

harassedinherpants · 03/11/2010 21:10

Biccie - OMG congratulations!!! Very, very chuffed you x

Witches - welcome! I had similar "preg" symptoms on my first cycle of trying, now I think it was just wishful thinking lol. Still flaming here!!

Fairy - people just don't think. I had the same the other week ((()))'s

Lemon - was the scan really good?? I only had bog standard one with dd, but would love a posh one if I ever get a bfp!

Have I missed anyone??! Grin

No news from me, cd27. Swollen belly, odd stabby pain, huge (even dh noticed lol) sore boobs....... not testing yet as those symptoms could be prg or pmt!! Oh and dd asked if I had a baby in my tummy yesterday as I look chubby.......she's 4 Hmm!

UmBongo · 03/11/2010 14:27

Biccy - huge congratulations!

Hope everyone else is ok, I am missing you all as I still have no internet and have to grab opportunities when I can, so haven't read back much! I must remember to go into history and delete mumsnet pages off it when I finish as I am on my dads computer!!!!!

Bicnod · 03/11/2010 13:49

Hi ladies - thanks for all the congrats. I'm using up ebay cheapie pg tests and doing one a day until they run out - DH thinks I've lost my marbles!

Youngie - how are you doing today? Worrying and sending virtual hugs x x

Fairy - I think pg FB updates should be banned - I've wanted to reply in a mean way to lots of friends (who I'm actually honestly pleased for really) who have announced their pg on there over the past year of trying and failing to get up the duff.

witches glad you worked out the cause of the symptoms - I didn't know pregnancy tablets could do that to you.

Lemony - yay for scan Grin How are you feeling now?

Lou hope you're not too tired - I'm waiting for that mind-numbing first trimester tiredness to kick in.

Pants how are things with you?

Loujalou · 02/11/2010 22:04

Tired not too sick but ready for bed.

Huge hugs Youngie x

Feeling really down as an old friend has announced on FB she's preg & it was a total surprise to her!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Angry
Surely that for most people SEX causes them????????????

I just wanna cry Sad Envy

No fair!

Icedlemonmuffin · 02/11/2010 18:54

First off really sorry Youngie words can't really help but thinking of you.

Sorry been MIA for so long been feeling a bit down and managed to convince myself I had antenatal depression! (had really bad pnd with dd) but climbing out of pit now. Dh booked a 4d scan last week and it really helped calm me down. She looked so real and just like her big dd.

Congrats Biccie and fingers crosses for a quick and boring eight months.

Lou the ante natal boards scare me too. How are you feeling?

Welcome Witches and big waves to Fairy and Pants.

witches · 02/11/2010 18:52

Thanks for ur notes of welcome everyone! and congrats to Bicnod. Just wanted to pass on been using pregnacare with vitamins and was giving me pregnancy symptoms - nausea, dizzy etc ( just what u want wen trying to get pregnant and get ur hopes up!)Angry i thought it was symptoms in my head but continued after AF even when i knew i wasnt pregnant. so changed to pure folic acid and feel much better! so just to pass onto other people who may react like i did!Grin

Loujalou · 02/11/2010 18:11

Biccie my lover congratulations. Those ante natal boards are frikking scary and I am now avoiding them and plonking myself right here.

Welcome witches :)

Youngie - thinking of you today lovely x x

Louja how are you and your bean doing?

I'm sorry I can't catch up right now as DS is destroying the kitchen but just wanted to say...

...OMFG I got a BFP!!!

Two BFPs on two different tests - that's pretty conclusive isn't it? I was due today and tested this morning and just now. I can't believe it, I really can't. We had DH booked in for a spunk test next week so he's mightily relieved Grin

Will be sticking around though if that's ok? As Louja said you lot are my homies Grin

UmBongo · 02/11/2010 16:19
