Shagwatch Update - I'm off the blocks! Hooray 1 swi on day 14! All I have to do is get another one!

Biccy sorry you are puking, hope it goes off soon. Good luck!

Bicnod · 24/11/2010 19:26

Umbongo do it do it do it - grab him by the short and curlies Grin

FairyG yay - reckon you must be winning shagwatch this month...

Louja keeping fingers and toes crossed for your scan - what date is it on?

Oldie how you doing sweetheart?

pants yep - feeling sick as a dog now. thought i'd escaped morning sickness this time but it has hit big stylee in the last few days.

I've got my scan date through - 22nd December - so all being well we'll be able to tell everyone in time for Christmas :)

DS is poorly at the moment :( he's on antibiotics and has been waking up 5 times a night for the past week. i'm on my knees - nearly fell asleep (literally actually nearly fell asleep) at my desk at work today. not good.

UmBongo · 21/11/2010 20:51

Deh 13 in the Bongo house. Dh is working again and won't be back til late. No swi or anything remotely like it yet this month. I think it is nearly time for a bit of cavewoman club man on head and drag to cave! (Obviously without knocking man completely unconscious!)Grin

Fairygodmother1 · 19/11/2010 21:51

Hi ya girlies!!

Missed you - the bleeding was getting me down that I could't compete in the 'falling on cock'games! But not bled for 11 days so I'm back in the game with 3 SWI!!!!

PMPL! at Iced's sister's comment!!!! DH loved it to!

How is everyone?
xxx

UmBongo · 19/11/2010 21:42

Thank you Lou, ds has had a lot of attention today as he was chucking up from about 2am to 9.30 this morning so most of the rest of the day involved cuddles and cbeebies! I would have been truly swamped if there was a baby involved in the mix too!

Hi Jollster! Good luck to you too.

Loujalou · 19/11/2010 10:45

Hey Jollster I still can't quite believe it myself. I hope all is well with you have stalked checked up on you a few times and seen not all is well. Fingers crossed you get the result you want. Sending you hugs even though apparently they are non-mumsnetty although on this board who cares xxx

sorry about the total thread hijack... but just spotted this... Louja what FAB news, am so pleased for you. Have all FX. x

Loujalou · 19/11/2010 08:36

I don't mean to be insensitive but that is how I used to get through it all. Still do as am to scared to get excited until my scan in 3 1/2 weeks.

Fivealive my lovey thinking is overrated you know that. Think of all the extra attention you have been able to give your DS that you wouldn't have done if you had another rug rat!

Hellooooooooo

Tumbleweed @@@@@@@

Hope everyone is ok, thats why you're all not here!

I had a sticky patch today, ds and I were out and his friends were all elsewhere, "my friends make me happy" he was sad to be by himself. He can play by himself brilliantly, but he needs someone else to chase when we are out!!!! If I had conceived after the 3 months it took with him, he would have a 2yr old sibling to play with by now. Sad

Bugger, bollocks. Must stop this thinking business. Tis bad for my health.

UmBongo · 16/11/2010 16:12

Well done Lou! I am really pleased for you. Big news in our house is that we have the internet back!!!!! (am also just finishing rtd so last month was a no too.)

Hi Lia

Loujalou · 16/11/2010 12:44

hope everyone else is well. x

Loujalou · 16/11/2010 10:46

The bean is all ok. Its growing as per expected and am now 9 weeks. I think the odds are now more in my favour. I am still not getting really excited but am glad I got this far.

My main symptoms are tiredness, sore boobs, bit funny with food and (TMI) irregular toilet trips. Still not sure it feels real but they found a baby so it was a huge relief. Can now start planning a bit more and book in my proper scan. I have still not cancelled my infertility appointment at the end of December as am going to wait for my 12 week scan first which will come first hopefully.

Sorry its all me me me!

Biccie TH refuses sex so it makes my life easy. Plus I didn't get any symptoms for a while so don't stress.

The rest of you how are things??

OP posts:
harassedinherpants · 15/11/2010 18:17

Hi Biccie, are you feeling sick too? I lost weight when prg with dd because I was soooo sick. Went right off everything except white food and curry. Even when the sickness stopped my cravings were for fruit and salad. Unheard of for me!

Bicnod · 15/11/2010 15:01

Hi ladies :)

Youngie how are you doing? Thinking of you lots x x

Pantslady poor you :( sending big get well soon hugs. Hope you manage a bit of SWI (for medicinal purposes)

I've got absolutely no appetite. I've gone off all food - there is ice-cream and chocolate biscuits untouched in this house Shock - is this normal?!

Feels like a very long time until the 12 week scan. Trying not to get my hopes up as don't really have any symptoms yet.

Who's winning shagwatch this month then? Poor DH hasn't seen any action at all since I got my BFP - think I might have to get back on it (so to speak) or I'll have a mutiny on my hands...

harassedinherpants · 14/11/2010 21:29

Hello - very quiet in here, hope you're all ok??

I'm not feeling great. Have lost my voice, sore throat, shivery, exhausted etc. Dh has been a star and I got out of bed and onto the sofa today. He's done everything bless him. Not a good time in cycle to get ill though Angry!!

Loujalou · 12/11/2010 08:40

Pants just tell him if his sperm don't work this month you are going to get him tested that will spring him into action!

harassedinherpants · 11/11/2010 14:34

What are we doing down on page 2?!!

I've been a bit awol this have been hiding out posting on the step parents board as we've taken a bit of a battering!

Lost track of days.....maybe cd7 or 8?? Making dh put some proper effort in this month Grin!!

Bicnod · 09/11/2010 20:07

PMSL at your sister Grin

Louja - I'm staying away from the antenatal boards at the moment. They move too fast for little old me and I like being here with you lot.

Icedlemonmuffin · 09/11/2010 17:38

Pants big big hugs and just take one day at a time. After my mmc I had days where I just felt like I couldn't carry on, but on those days I just let myself cry and dh was amazing at just listening and holding me. He was really upset about the mc but was also really worried about me (ended up in resus after bp crashed then up to theatre for emergency erpc).

Just dusting off my pom poms for you Smile

Biccie I didn't go to the doctors until I was nearly seven weeks and got a scan the same day! Does 'accidently sitting on a cock' make you feel less green, this happened to my sisters best mate, she is now preggers with no 3. She said to my sister she didn't know how it happened my sister told her it would be safer to put it in her mouth in future!!!Grin

Bicnod · 09/11/2010 13:49

Ewwwwwwwww at fall on a cock Envy

Loujalou · 09/11/2010 10:45

Hey youngie my love still sending you hugs - come and wail at us we are all here. Although it seems to be getting dusty in here again.

I cried when Harry phoned his daughter in Spooks last night!

OP posts:
notheroldie · 09/11/2010 10:13

Well hello lovely ladies :)

Just catching up and I see BICCIE has gone and got herself pregnant!!!! :) :) :)

Did you 'fall on a cock' down the park? Well done !! Good luck and hope its a good sticky one. xx

A big thanks to all you out there who sent me big hugs etc I am feeling much better now after a horrible couple of weeks.

My ERPC went well, everyone at the hosp was really good and lovely. I had a room to myself with an en-suite (luxury!) it was so nice to have a loo to myself!
Worst bit was as I was in recovery I heard a newborn baby cry in theatre opposite. It broke my heart. (obviously I was pleased for the woman who'd just had a c/s) but at that moment it brought it home to me what I had just gone through and what I didnt have :(

I have put a lid on all my feelings and havent really had the chance for a good bawl yet, tho I do seem to hold back the tears at stupid times like driving, or at the checkouts etc! I know I must let it out and get over it.

As for TTC , yep, count us in!
Lemony , LIA , LOU , BICCIE wave those pom poms for us needing a bit of luck.

Cheers!

Loujalou · 07/11/2010 19:43

Passes around the turkey basters hopefully I won't be needing them back. Have decided if baby t is born and is ok then that's it no more babies for me.

Found out one girl I used to know who won a baby her boyfriend not too pleased and she is going to raise baby herself. It's all a bit weird but he never wanted kids and was honest with her. She's blocked on my fb for putting scan photos up. I think she doesn't quite understand the challenges ahead and thinks her life is going to carry on as normal. Will be a huge learning curve.
