The May Bus

I'm feeling positive about this next cycle. Due rtd tomorrow.

If it's as long as the one I'm just finishing I'll be due sometime in early May so thought I'd do the honours and polish down the bus, stack it full of champagne and nibbles and start the engine!

Who's with me?

Eeeek and Weeee and Whooooo

BFP this morning Shock and Smile

It took a while to come up with the + sign so a bit tentative right now, will test again in a couple of days but it did give a positive result in around 8mins, definately within the 10 mins. And the control line came up at the same time. I'm at CD 33 of average 29 longest 32.

And I'd just like to say those Poundshop tests are a pile of poop, so useless, I reckon you'd have to be 12weeks along to get a positive result! (did one yesterday morning then went out and brought a Clearblue, not digital but half price at Superdrug FYI)

DH has already cautioned me to not tell anyone just in case but YAY for forumming where nobody knows you IRL!!!

sillybillymummy · 31/08/2010 21:55

shame about all the people hopping off - good luck next month

ravenlocks · 31/08/2010 16:46

Am also off to the June bus. AF arrived right on cue. Sorry for the others who are heading there, congrats to the BFPs and good luck to all left.

Owlshoes oh no, hope you are ok. You were my cycle buddy for 2 buses, hope you come back at some stage, even as a lurker and announce your BFP to the June bus!

misstilly · 31/08/2010 14:12

Hi, AF got me so i'm off to the june bus! congratulations on all the bfp.

Hi again! I posted last week but this thread is sooo fast moving!
I have this week off work so hoping I might be able to keep up a bit better!

Congrats to all the BFPs :)

I reckon I'm ov today or tomorrow so DH is under strict instructions for tonight Grin

gingerwench · 31/08/2010 13:04

Hello

please can I join the bus?

gingerwench TTC#2 Cycle4? UCL29-32 CD19

Fingers crossed, getting increasingly broody!

Wombat33 · 31/08/2010 11:55

Whoo hoo!! Congrats on all the BFPs while I've been away! The grads list is growing that's fantastic!!

I'm now back from my hols. Very glad to say AF has held off and I've had several more BFPs since I posted about my TWP on 18(?) August. I've got an appointment with my GP tomorrow and I'm due to get my chromosme results in about 2 weeks (they've managed to speed them up as they were going to take 3 months!!). Then I'm due to have an early dating scan (so they can work out when to do CVS if they can identify my chromosomal issue) in a couple of week's time. Eek - exciting but very scary! Read in my pregnancy book last night that bean will already have its own blood and heart beating. Amazing.

Good luck to all those on 2WW xxx

owlshoes · 31/08/2010 09:16

I'm jumping off too - no AF yet but I did a test to save my sanity this morning and it was a BFN as I knew it would be.

Not sure if I am going to catch the June bus, am a bit depressed tbh.

Fingers crossed for everyone left - am hoping for good news for you all :)

rosieposey · 30/08/2010 23:00

Can someone remove me from the bus please, AF came today so im off to the June bus, congrats everyone who has gotten a lovely bfp and good luck to those waiting to test x

kiwidreamer · 30/08/2010 22:24

I'm going to post this out loud cos it's bound to tempt fate but the very very light spotting the other night didn't eventuate into any thing (shhh it was less spotting and me... ahh... shall we say investigating) so I'm at CD31 but I've had 32 day cycles before, avg is 29 days. All I can say is AF is a right b!tch stringing a TTCer along like this Angry LOL so I'll hang out here just a little longer if that's ok with rest of the lovely May passengers :)

StarflowerGirl · 30/08/2010 22:11

Congrats to Zinnia and Loopy. Here's hoping you both have very sticky beans! Grin

As for me, The Red Death arrived this morning so almost as soon as I hopped on the bus I have to hop off again. Sad

To say I'm disappointed is an understatement as I was really hoping I'd have a honeymoon baby (I got married earlier this month). Still, as hubby says, there's lots of fun to be had in trying again next month! Smile

sillybillymummy · 30/08/2010 21:08

CONGRATS zinnia maybe i should consider temping / opks..
loopy its about time you had a break from updating these lists! Well done you :-)
OH NO Kiwi & totally see you on the next bus probably

Totallyfloaty35 · 30/08/2010 20:24

Hi all can you take me off the list please,AF came yesterday Sad

8rubberduckies · 30/08/2010 19:59

Hello everyone, and congratulations to loopy and zinnia!!! loopy what a turnaround from when I last read the thread on Thursday!

I'm sorry to see you go kiwi and all the others who got off the bus over the weekend, maybe see you on the next leg...

Well, I went away festivalling this weekend and forgot my thermometer, so still no clear idea if I've OVd, will have to see how temperature looks tomorrow, if it's up I'll know I'm anywhere between 1-4 dpo. Hope it's more like 4dpo as we did no shagging over weekend due to sharing a blow-up-bed with a toddler!

goldmaple · 30/08/2010 19:14

Yay! Congrats loopy and Zinnia! and good luck to everyone hoping on the June bus!

Am finally on the 2ww! Hope it goes by quickly! what DPO do most of you ladies start POAS?

ljg72 · 30/08/2010 17:46

Hello all! Congrats Zinnia and LoopySmile.
I thought TWP was (Tinged with pink) Doh! thick or what Grin

ravenlocks · 30/08/2010 16:52

Thanks for sharing your chart zinnia. Am certain it is all over for me this cycle and I will be changing to the June bus tomorrow or Weds at latest. Ended up bursting into tears in a cafe over lunch with DH, need to get a grip! Did a test a couple of hrs ago and, yip, BFN! Will hang out here until AF sings, she will be belting out a ballad in the next couple of days.

TWP is teeny weeny positive... good guess owlshoes.

CharlottesClan · 30/08/2010 11:06

oh and well done zinnia, missed that post when i was scanning the thread :o

CharlottesClan · 30/08/2010 11:05

still no idea whats going on here. no af, no +pos.

planning on temping and using OPKs next month, but i dont want to order anything or print the chart out until i know whats going on. need to re-read up about temping as its been 2 years since last time and ive forgotten it all!

i want to know what TWP is too Confused

owlshoes · 30/08/2010 10:34

Minor amendments to list as a few people have changed bus :) Someone please correct me if I've stuffed it up, my track record is not good...

Also did we ever get an update from Wombat33 ? I thought she had a TWP (what is a TWP anyway? A tenuous weak positive? A tiny weeny positive? Answers on postcard pls.)

I also keep getting up in the night for the loo but I think this is down to me having vast mugs of camomile tea before bedtime - I really should stop doing that but I'm hooked on the stuff.

Am thinking of doing the temping next month, but I tend to sleep with my mouth open (classy, I know). Am guessing that might bugger it up royally?

Lib76 · 30/08/2010 10:28

fantastic news zinnia so pleased for you!

zinnia · 30/08/2010 10:06

PS Thanks owlshoes too, I was, and it does! :)

zinnia · 30/08/2010 10:05

Thanks ravenlocks and MrsP81

My temps did drop at 8dpo but not actually below coverline I'm afraid ravenlocks, here's my chart www.fertilityfriend.com/home/30395e. Was expecting RTD on Thurs so when got 2nd drop in a row on Tues thought that was it - but don't give up entirely, have seen a couple of pregnancy charts on FF where the post-ov temp dipped below coverline before climbing again. Fx for you.

MrsP unsurprisingly I'm a big fan of temping. Would recommend doing it with OPKs though if you can bear to, don't think I'd have caught my ov date without using both together and practising the tried-and-tested SWI every other day method.

So, here goes:

Zinnia ! Hoorah, v. chuffed for you cos you were so sure it wasn't happening this month. Just goes to show, doesn't it Grin
