I'm feeling positive about this next cycle. Due rtd tomorrow.

If it's as long as the one I'm just finishing I'll be due sometime in early May so thought I'd do the honours and polish down the bus, stack it full of champagne and nibbles and start the engine!

Who's with me?

Afternoon all. Right, am back on the May bus. Back from all hols and start SWI this very evening, fingers (and nothing else!) crossed. Have slotted myself into the stats but can't remember what cycle this is so as I had a month out I've cheated and taken myself back to cycle 1, makes me feel better if I'm not successful this month!

Any gossip?

Hi ladies - hope you are having a nice relaxing weekend and enjoying the bus ride ;)

Anyway, just wanted to say can someone please let me off the bus? I'm feeling a bit travel sick.

Just delete Tamashii when you do the next list please.

Good luck to you all. Hope not to see you on any future buses because you will all be PG at the end of the May bus journey!

Hi OTP, glad AF stopped messing you around. Here's to a lucky bus this time!

AF now shown up for me too, so as at today: TTC#1 Cycle 3 UCL 26 CD 1.

ravenlocks · 14/08/2010 09:41

Eugh! Have horrible hangover today. Defo overdid it last night! So much for me stopping drinking altogether. CD11 and first SWI this morning, started OPK POAS last night. Have come away for the weekend and totally forgot by BBT. Ooops. FF will not be pleased!

Happy weekend to all on the May Bus!

OverThePond · 14/08/2010 05:43

Hopping over from the April bus. So glad to see old friends on board... Had a rough cycle thinking I alternately was and wasn't for 7 days as AF decided to take her own holiday at the expense of my deteriorating mental state.

So: TTC#1, Cycle 5, UCL 28-29/36, CD 2.

I'm more than happy to sit at the back of the bus and watch the BFPs hopping off at the front. I'm drinking conspicuously Wink so that my MIL doesn't think I'm off the sauce. [passes bottle of Cabernet Sauvignon and artisan chocolate covered sea-salt caramels]

digitalgirl · 13/08/2010 18:48

That's a bummer tamashii sorry for the CP, sometimes it is better not to know.

Anyone else get EWCM the day after ovulating? Or is DH perhaps not off the hook just yet? Had a small rise in temps this morning so assumed along with the pos opk two days ago plus bloating and cramping yesterday that the hatching had already commenced. But a run for the bus earlier prompted a (TMI ALERT) big dangler to surprise me when I went to the loo. Think one more SWI is in order...

Am still generally feeling positive about this month. Even if I have been on two big alcoholic benders and my diet has gone to pot, I feel relaxed and have laughed loads so that can only be a good thing.

OP posts:
Tamashii · 13/08/2010 16:09

Waving at those who have sadly had to get off the April bus... Will we go with the Dirty Dancing soundtrack on the CD player or are we having some happy hardcore to throw some shapes to ;P

Didn't want to mention this but it's getting me down and I am trying not to mention it in RL but AF disappeared when I got on the May bus and turned to (TMI) brown spotting... Did HPT n got faint but def there BFP. BFP results lasted 3 days with the spotting but got fainter and fainter until spotting turned to red today and now definite BFN. I guess it was chemical PG then. I am pretty gutted and sooooooooooo wish I hadn't bothered to test at all but there you go. It's not even like I tested early either. So crap.

Anyway, I did make those truffles a few days back AND I ate them all (bar 2 DS scoffed before they set :) yum).

Good luck to you all and have a fab weekend. I'm going to open the red wine tonight n have a good few for medicinal purposes!

delilahbelle · 13/08/2010 10:54

DH will not be happy! Seems like I will be changing our repetoire next cycle... Why does no one tell you these things!

delilahbelle · 13/08/2010 10:27

Hey all :)

Not been around much, weekend break and then lots of SWI Blush getting in the way of MN.

No idea when/if I OV'd, thought possibly CD10 as I had loads of EWCM before that then it all vanished. Although that could have been because I ran out of grapefruit juice. Or could be OVing today as I have some promising cramps. God knows - I missed using my OV sticks as I forgot to take them away with me, and it seems a bit late to start today!

Ah well, 2 weeks until testing...

sillybillymummy I am a May baby too, although 31 next year Shock How on earth did that happen?!

sillybillymummy · 13/08/2010 10:02

Hello Laies [shimmies on to the bus, waving at all her friends from the April bus & smiling at any newbies she doesn't recognise]

I am a may baby, and i'm 30 next May, so what a FANTASTIC present this would be?

Please add my stats as i am still feeling a bit sulky thanks to Af getting me

TTC #3 Cycle 3 UCL28 CD3

Is there a CD player on this bus? Since i can drink this weekend, thought we could put a few tunes on and throw some shapes?

BenignNeglect · 13/08/2010 08:14

Hello ladies [plonks bum down on seat]. I hear that May babies are the best.

Not posting stats yet, as AF has done a midnight flit, but I'm expecting her
any minute now and thought I'd make myself comfy. Have broungh Haribo with me Grin.

lolaclare · 13/08/2010 07:06

I'm on CD22 today and warning TMI got loads of milky white discharge yesterday. Have googled and apparently this could be leukorrhea - a very early sign of pregnancy.

Boobs are still sore but not as sore as they were a few days ago. Still feeling like I have a very empty stomach all the time even when I've just eaten.

Cracked and POAS this morning and got a BFN but I know it probably wouldn't show on a test at this point anyway so I don't really know what I thought I was doing.

My ovulation predictor tests arrived in the post and I've been using them all of this week just to detect if I am ovulating unusually late but have not had a line at all on them until this morning - although the line this time was very faint so technically a negative. However, have googled and apparently early pregnancy can show up on an ovulation test because it is set off by the hMG hormone too.

Hmmmm.... think I'm clutching at straws at this point - I'm just going to have to wait and POAS again when a pregnancy it is likely to show up.

Nicolaplus1 · 12/08/2010 21:56

Oooh CD21 and am with you wombat also have heavy boobs Grin

Do feel different from pre ovulation etc bt dont know if its my mind running away with me lol

Ovulated a little earlier this month CD14 but even sknow its a bit early for symptoms ha ha

rosieroseanna · 12/08/2010 21:14

Please can I join? I have just got back from holiday where I was convinced I was pg as my last cycle was 25 days then this one was 28 before I came on and I had spotting for a few days! anyway I've added myself to the bottom (wavinf baby dust everywhere).

I feel symptom ridden, sore boobs, lots of weird looking veins appearing and feeling pretty sick... but I had the same symptoms during my luteal phase for the last 3 months.

The first month I was actually pg (mc at 5 weeks) so assumed they were pregnancy symptoms. Then I got the same symptoms the next month and got very excited about being pg again - but wasn't and now I have them this month too. I think I must just be one of those people that reacts to the dominant hormones in the luteal phase (progesterone?) or maybe I have some kind of inbalance. But either way - its pretty damn annoying!

I think being on the pill for so long masks your natural cycle and PMT symptoms so much that you can get quite a shock when you come off it and realise how you would have been feeling every month for all those years!

digitalgirl · 12/08/2010 15:12

kiwi every other day is fine. Some actually recommend it as it gives sperm a chance to replenish.
Deep breaths, think sexy thoughts, and seduce your dh.

OP posts:
saffronbun · 12/08/2010 13:32

Yup, it's deeply unsexy Grin

I got quite agitated about not SWI-ing on the right days last month. All that happened was that I quietly fumed and got majorly stressed about it and it still didn't happen because he didn't get any less tired just because I was cross.

So all I can suggest is; relax and let it go. If you did the deed on Tuesday then there are most likely still swimmers lurking around and if he's feeling perkier tonight then go for it again but above all, no point in wallowing in mood as that way, there will be no SWI at all!

Good luck Wink

kiwidreamer · 12/08/2010 12:47

Okay I need an 'ovulation expert'!! If I had EWCM yest and today does that mean I've OV'd or am due to very soon?

DH and I have been SWIing Sun/Mon/Tues but it didnt work out last night - am actually gutted as I knew things were happening in the OV dept but DH was too tired, how many fricken times have I put out even when being dead tired over the past year and he couldnt manage it this once GRRRRR - so now I'm in a bit of a mood with him and wondering if I can wallow in my mood or if I should shrug it off cos sex might still be useful in the baby making dept!!!

I'm having flash backs of that FRIENDS episode where Monica tricks Chandler into thinking she is over their fight so they can have 'make up sex' but turns out she is still peeved at him but just wanted his 'goods' as it was the right time for baby making.

Anyone else find the SWI obligation a bit unsexy Confused

I'm just starting the 2ww but off on holiday on Saturday so will have plenty to distract me from mad symptom spotting...

Hope to return to some good news - I will find out either way while abroad, but will deinfitely check in to see how you're all getting on...fingers crossed!
