I'm feeling positive about this next cycle. Due rtd tomorrow.

If it's as long as the one I'm just finishing I'll be due sometime in early May so thought I'd do the honours and polish down the bus, stack it full of champagne and nibbles and start the engine!

Who's with me?

wombat have you tried looking at www.peeonastick.com? they have pics of different tests and that might help you work out if yours is a TWP or just an evap line...

Good luck, really hope it's the former.

Wombat33 · 19/08/2010 10:11

Morning all. Hello Prinpo I know it's only 10am but I'd love some black forest gateau please!!

Princess sorry to hear about AF and car prang - hope you get it all sorted out and weren't too shaken by it.

Am trying not to stress here but failing miserably! Line stil vv faint (more so than yesterday) so am fretting about the possibility its a CP. Am trying to reassure myself that every woman/pg is different and some women don't get even a faint line until several days after AF is due, but that doesn't stop obsessive pant checking Blush. I think it's particularly bad because ordinarily I'd be expecting AF to show up any day now and my current symptoms are so like AF symptoms it's impossible to know. I'm willing the little bean to produce enough hormones to keep AF away!!

zinnia · 19/08/2010 09:58

Morning all!
Welcome back onto the bus Prinpo, sorry you've had to come on board but good to see you nonetheless.

Commiserations Princess but here's hoping you graduate from the May bus yet!

Meanwhile, back at casa zinnia, am getting dangerously addicted to FF. She has acknowledged my ov now so have to start obsessively noting every possible proto-symptom even at 3dpo. Apparently. Well it should help to while away the time, even though she's going to be sorely disappointed if she thinks I'm going to wait another fifteen days before poas, assuming AF doesn't get me first!

She also seems to think I'm set for a 30 day cycle, which would be longest ever. Hah. What does she know anyway?

AF has arrived so I'm off the bus, had a prang in my car too, so I'm too depressed to update the list, sorry all.

hey guys

been a tough month here, i got offered a place on a degree that i never thought i would.. 2 days after my fertile period.

been figuring out what to do really. im going to go for it, worst comes to the worst i'll drop out and restart next year.

mind you way things are going, tummy ache and neg poas...

ive never ttc whilst bfing before, so i think thats affecting me as im one of the lucky buggers that conceive from one night (dd!) and its hit me quite hard.

8rubberduckies · 18/08/2010 21:34

Hey ladies don't beat yourselves up for a little glass of something cold on 2ww, I think the stress of worrying about it has got to be worse for any bean growing than anything. I hope I haven't given you my bug fled, and that an early night and a glass of wine sorts it out.

Welcome on board prinpo I'll have a couple of profiteroles please Smile

fledtoscotland · 18/08/2010 21:17

Ive been very bad tonight and have half (unfortunatly just half) glass of wine to go with the rapidly diminishing kettle chips. Feel knackered and cold so hope I'm not coming down with anything.

Another 10days before POAS but know my impatirnce will barely last till nxt thurs.

Figured if I have vino theres more chance of being pregnant and then feeling guilty !

kiwidreamer · 18/08/2010 21:01

Would it be horridly naughty of me to crack open a bottle of prinpo's bubbles while on TWW, sounds delish and much more exciting than the diet lemonade on offer at mine

The silly symptom spotting is in full force tonight... have an itchy nipple LOL don't even know if that's a symptom to spot!

final test

lateatwork · 18/08/2010 20:48

congrats sloathy and go wombat! am gunning for you... will personally come over and paint the line darker if need be... need more success stories..

confession time. have poas for the past 7 days straight. every morning. all bfn. tonight i was tempted to check as well. i thought i felt a twinge in my breast but it was probably just DC hanging off my nipple wanting some (just stopped BF... at 21 months... on advice of consultant)

ok. vented. feel better.

Nicolaplus1 · 18/08/2010 20:40

Evening ladies

Hello everyone ,

I bring a 1970s 'sweet trolley', groaning with black forest gateau, lemon meringue, various pavlovas and profiteroles. Think I may even have a Vienetta somewhere (shuffles around in coolbox). Would anyone care to order? Smile

Oh, I've also got a job lot of something cold and bubbly, which I plan to crack open in a day or two when AF turns up.

I've been off the buses for a few weeks but thought I'd hop back onto this one because, even if AF turns up soon, I think I'll be able to get straight back on at the back.

Wonderful to hear about the BFPs - congratulations, ladies. Really hope that you have uneventful pregnancies.

MIL staying at the moment (good job we're not trying to SWIng) so I'm a bit brain dead but I imagine I'll perk up soon.

Wombat33 · 18/08/2010 16:56

Well done Rubberduckies!! Hope you get well soon and thanks for the woohoos :)

8rubberduckies · 18/08/2010 16:51

I managed to do the deed with my limbs aching and my eyelids propped open with matchsticks last night, so please O Lord reward me for my dedication to the cause this month! Good job my partner will take up any offer of some shagging (with or without intent), as I probably didn't look my best!

Quiet woohoos coming your way from over here wombat, hopefully you'll make it onto the grads list very soon.

I have a question - I have heard somewhere there is a supplement you can take to lengthen your luteal phase. Mine is verging on too short (9-10 days). Anyone know what could help?

Hope everyone's Wednesdays are going well, I am propped up in bed with medicinal biscuits and tea Smile

fledtoscotland · 18/08/2010 14:23

lol kiwidreamer - could that be an early symptom of pregnancy brain????? Wink

iPeriod on my phone says I'm on CD 19 so like a good little kiwi sheep I'll follow what it says and change my position below. Thank goodness virtual kettle chips are 0 WW Points cos I just cant resist nom nom.

DS (2yrs) was such a littledemonmonkey at the shops today, I did laugh at myself a little bit as I purchased another pack of Poundshop pee sticks... am I mad to want another one of thesedemonsmonkeys so badly!!!

FX for you wombat - keep us posted.

fledtoscotland, to answer your POAS question: having been sorely disappointed two months running by testing before AF actually due, I'm now not going anywhere near a stick until 14dpo at the earliest. FF I think insists you wait till you're 5 days late, but for me that would mean waiting till 17dpo (this month) and frankly there's no way I'm going to last that long.

It's all for good reasons though: an early BFN will just upset you and might not be conclusive, at which point you're just going to end up testing repeatedly and lots of BFNs really do your head in (well, they do mine anyway).

Personally have come to the conclusion that there is no point testing until AF is actually late, no matter how many symptoms you've convinced yourself you've got.

But hey - that's just me! Some people just want to know one way or another as soon as possible - although of course the earlier you test the less likely you are to get an accurate result, so it's all swings and roundabouts really...

owlshoes · 18/08/2010 10:45

Woo! Wombat here's hoping for a big strong line very soon!

raven I'm with you on the not-posting scan pics so early - I wouldn't dare. Gross CM question btw but needed asking! I do like the fact there's no such thing as TMI on here, who else could you possibly ask that sort of stuff?

Mm kettlechips, hand those over :)
