I'm feeling positive about this next cycle. Due rtd tomorrow.

If it's as long as the one I'm just finishing I'll be due sometime in early May so thought I'd do the honours and polish down the bus, stack it full of champagne and nibbles and start the engine!

Who's with me?

Phew! had a full-on day today for my ds's 2nd birthday party, and have a stash of leftover cupcakes if anyone would like one? We have a choice of blue ones with mini-marshmallows or red ones with mini-animals on, please help me out everyone as otherwise I'm going to put on about a stone just tonight!

Looking forward to seeing the grads list growing very soon wombat and lola, it sounds very positive (scuse the pun) for both of you!

I am getting very disheaterned now at the lack of ovulation here. We I are struggling to keep up the swi impetus now after a couple of weeks of it and I just want to put my feet up and get stuck into the 2ww, or start a new cycle.

Hope you're all having a great Saturday xxx

crazydayz · 21/08/2010 17:25

Congrats Wombat and lola. I'm once again beginning the 2WW in earnest and resolving to do less symptom spotting this month! Wink Meanwhile everyone I know now seems to be announcing their pregnancies following 12 week scans!

lolaclare · 21/08/2010 16:47

Thanks zinnia - and a tentative congratulations to wombat!

Well, I did another IC test this morning and the BFP line was much clearer. I think I'll wait until I do the clear blue digital one tomorrow before admitting that I am really pregnant. I'll be 1 day late tomorrow too.

Prinpo · 21/08/2010 16:11

AF turned up as an unwelcome but expected guest at Casa Prinpo (a bit like MIL Grin) so I'm moving from the front to the back of the bus . Nice to still be here Smile.

So am I! Still no AF here, but did another test this morning and got a clear positive. Will wait until Monday to graduate if everything's still on track as by then I'll be late even on the basis of my longest, 34 day cycle. Very excited/scared! Grin

Morning everyone.
Cramps for the 3rd day running here, but only 5 dpo so it's way too early for implantation pains. Sigh.

I usually ovulate around CD16-18 so its all systems go again tonight.

Then its 10 days of obsessive symptom spotting.

As I only get chance to post during working hours I'm sorry I can't read back on the whole thread, but just wanted to say hello and good luck

fatheadsgirl · 20/08/2010 13:59

Lola FC for you!! What wonderful restraint you have! I would have still been pulling up my knickers whilst legging it to Sainsburys to buy a digital test Grin

LittleMilla Hi! Try not to get so stressed, we have wine and cake....I think. There's still wine and cake right?????

Today is going to be emotional I think....

8rubberduckies · 20/08/2010 12:18

Hi all, still no sign of OV from me, maybe I'm on for another annovolutary cycle this month... Sad

Hello to all the newbies and sorry to hear about your cp ljg. I've never had one but I can imagine the pain and sadness. I don't think many people who are not ttc would think it was a big deal, but we all know how much you can get your hopes up and have them dashed even without a twl appearing and then disappearing again. I get my hopes up ridiculously every month, and did right from Cycle 1, and find it hard to explain to anyone my disappointment every month when AF arrives, so tend to try not to show it.

I am going to a festival next weekend and was kind of hoping to either be pg or have af by then, not to be in the middle of the 2ww. It will be difficult not to indulge in any booze there without all my mates thinking I'm secretly pregnant and hiding it, but looks like I'll just have to be the rent-a-babysitter sober person if I do ovulate in the next week.

ljg72 · 20/08/2010 10:39

Thanks for the support ladies Smile

Keeping everything crossed for you Lolaclare Wink.

Hello all! as I started bleeding yesterday so have put me on cd2...evey day counts Smile

LittleMilla · 20/08/2010 09:35

Zinia - AF is due tomorrow, so that puts me on CD27. I think.

Just been on the old symptom spotting thread, which probably isn't the best thing for me!

Had something akin to kidney pains for about two weeks now. Wrote it off as drinking too much one night (!), but had it quite steadily since.

I managed to stop AF coming through stress a couple of months ago, so I need to chill.

Anyone else have guilt toward their DH/DP? He is trying his hardest to be sympathetic (even speaking to other people's DHs who have just had babies to find out how long it takes), but says he hates seeing me so stressed. Blush

Think I'll test on Sunday. Anyone else doing it then??

zinnia · 20/08/2010 09:16

meant to add...

lgj so sorry, that's gut-wrenching for you.

and lolaclare hooray - and I admire your patience for waiting till Sunday for another test!

kiwidreamer thanks - I'm keeping my FC

You're right about this forum being a good outlet for our crazy obessiveness! If my DH knew how much thought I had put into the TTC process, I think he might have been scared off! A couple of days ago I mentioned TTC about 3 times in one evening and he said I was being ridiculous so I dread to think what he would say if he knew I was reading TTC forums all day at work! Blush

kiwidreamer · 20/08/2010 08:07

waves to all the newbies, welcome aboard please avail yourself of all the treats and settle yourselves down for the ride :)

lolaclare Yay for lovely wee lines (bahahaha me so funny), hope its a sticky one for you!!!

Forums are so fab, its so good to have an avenue for the obession general interest of TTC without showing DH quite how mad I really am!

Prinpo I think you win Wife of the Week for collecting your DH in the middle of the night after being out having grown up fun with out you!

Okay best go sort myself out while I have the window of quiet that is 'Mickey Mouse Clubhouse'!!!

lolaclare · 20/08/2010 07:17

Eeek! Just POAS and I think I can see a very very faint line. Shock
Managed to catch DH when he was half way out of the door to work and he had a good look at it in the light and agreed that there was definitely a faint line there...
Won't be getting my hopes up yet as it is SO faint. But I've got a couple of Clear Blue digital tests due to arrive on Sunday with my internet Asda groceries so will retest then and hopefully confirm it. Smile

Welcome to everyone who's just hopped on. Shall henceforth be using 'farking' at every farking opportunity Smile.

Princess, Sad, hope you're ok.

Wombat, black forest gateau making it's way down to you.

ljg, so sorry to hear about chemical pregnancy. That's really lousy. It's such a loss, whatever stage it happens at.

Fathead, Shock Blush Grin. In his defence (why am I defending him?), I do believe that the menfolk can find this whole ttc thing difficult. It can be a bit of an affront to their manhood to realise that sometimes we only want them for their man juice and not their animal magnetism. Overthepond, on that same note, I'd definitely go for the whole "I'm so frisky because you're so hot" approach this month. It's a tried and tested method on these buses and an extensive cost-benefit analysis has demonstrated that it gets results.

Kiwi, glad you ranted. Does you good once in a while.

Up late tonight. Collecting DH at 1.45am from station 18 miles away (MIL here to babysit) after a drunken night out in London. How nice am I? Feel major brownie points accruing...

LittleMilla · 19/08/2010 22:13

p.s. thank you digitalgirl and fledtoscotland for kind welcome words. Already feeling oddly better - certainly cathartic to know that others are in same boat/bus.

LittleMilla · 19/08/2010 22:11

Hmmm, I am so rediculously impatient I don't know why I even considered this! Next up is the old sticky things so that I don't have to keep on relying on the dodgy calculators. Think I might test tomorrow though.

Having had a coil for a few years (odd reactions to lots of pills) I'd naiively assumed I'd get pg STRAIGHT away. What a nob!? Ha.

I've had twinges and pains since last week and period (what's the MN letters for that?) is due on Sat. I'm pretty renowned for marathon sleeping, but feel utterly knackered too.

Soooo, secretly hoping that this all means I am pg. But depression and suicidal thoughts (well, mild thoughts!) is making me think it's ruddy peewee. Ah well.
