The May Bus

I'm feeling positive about this next cycle. Due rtd tomorrow.

If it's as long as the one I'm just finishing I'll be due sometime in early May so thought I'd do the honours and polish down the bus, stack it full of champagne and nibbles and start the engine!

Who's with me?

wombat if by any chance you're still around, do you want to graduate now??

fatheadsgirl being off your food sounds v promising - fx for you (my MIL is staying next weekend but she is not going to have any idea that we're in the middle of ttc! I am not about to open those particular floodgates...)

fatheadsgirl · 23/08/2010 09:32

Congratulations Lola and LittleMilla

Wombat Keeping everything crossed for you

We've had a nice weekend although MIL has jumped on the baby band wagon and is now some sort of conception cheer leader lol! She's convinced I'm PG, I'm not sure, she says I'm acting different but won't tell me how Hmm Met friends for dinner yesterday, couldn't eat a thing, everything smelled vile! AF due tomorrow.....

How's everyone else? Crappy weather has thwarted our park plans today.... eurgh stupid rain!

Wombat33 · 22/08/2010 22:54

Congrats lolaclare!

Hi everyone. I'm going to be away from the computer for the next week, so won't be posting. Still no AF here. Can't quite believe it but very excited (and hoping the sickness doesn't kick in for the next couple of weeks!)!! See you all in a few days.

fledtoscotland · 22/08/2010 22:34

Congratulations Lolaclare Grin

owlshoes · 22/08/2010 20:54

Hoorah Lolaclare v. pleased for you :)

zinnia · 22/08/2010 20:32

Woo lola that's fantastic! Well done on being so patient and waiting till today, you clearly have nerves of steel.

CharlottesClan · 22/08/2010 20:19

:) congrats lolaclare! what great news :)

hope for me yet, everything crossed here

kiwidreamer · 22/08/2010 19:53

lolaclare · 22/08/2010 19:41

Ok the Clear Blue test says 'Pregnant 2-3' so I think this is really it!! Smile

I think I'm finally ready to graduate. Thankyou ladies for all your support and advice and I hope to see a lot more of you switching to the graduates list with me before long.

Grin
zinnia · 22/08/2010 17:26

...of course what's actually going to happen is that AF will get me on Friday some time and then I'll spend the whole weekend (when MIL is staying, in a masterstroke of timing) with AF pains and the hump.

zinnia · 22/08/2010 17:17

PS didn't know FF did a "high" rating. Had been feeling quite optimistic about my "good" (we DTD the night before I ov'd for pete's sake) but now not so much! [sulky emoticon]

zinnia · 22/08/2010 17:14

ooh ravenlocks I am hearing you about FF. This is my first month of BBT/FFing as well and she's telling me to wait till 18dpo before testing (like that's going to happen) and predicting a 32 day cycle Hmm when my longest ever has been 29! I think this based on the assumption that I ov'd on cd18 and giving me a 14 day lp, even though 10-16 days is the 'normal' range..

Am in the same dilemma about when to test, AF should be due on Saturday latest, I think, so if make it to Sunday a.m. without it will be v v tempted to poas even though that will only be 13dpo. Am going to try to hold out for 14dpo on Monday morning, but we'll see how the willpower goes!

Actually pixie that makes it 8 days for me too. We need a bank holiday testers section of the bus.

Fixated? Moi?

CharlottesClan · 22/08/2010 16:19

ravenlocks - pmsl! i got like that when ttc dc3. it does make u insane all this stuff :o

Also, does anyone else feel quite smug when FF tells you that you have a 'high' chance of conceiving based on when you DTD? Only got a 'good' last month so was determined to improve this month so I could go to the top of the class and polish my halo.

I am slowly going mad.Blush

ravenlocks · 22/08/2010 14:51

Congrats LittleMilla! Have put you on the grad list. Sorry Eskarina about AF, I remember you posting before about your DH's cold feet - glad you are back on track for June. Itching to put Lola and Wombat on the grads list but will resist until you ladies feel ready. What a good start.

This is my first month using BBT and updating FF with the temps data. I went on this morning to update all my temps for the last few days and she has told be I Ov'd on CD15, so am now 4DPO. She is 'suggesting' I wait to 19DPO before I test - is she insane!? I am disagreeing with her prediction of my AF due date also (CD30) and I think I will test on CD28 as I am pretty certain that is my AF due date, that is only 13DPO, but that is ok right?? I think I might have shorter than average luteal phase.

Did anyone read the article in the Observer magazine today about miscarriages? Says there is an US pharma company is planning on bringing out pregnancy tests for a couple of DPO and that the Miscarriage Association are lobbying them not to, to avoid CPs being picked up and the associated heartbreak. Wonder if that is why FF is suggesting 19DPO for me to test. Hmmm, dilemma.

Eskarina · 22/08/2010 14:35

I'm hopping off this bus. AF got me today, but I'm not surprised as DH had a crisis of confidence (do we really want to do this?) at the crucial point in the cycle, then set me wondering too. But we had a long talk and we're back on, so I'll have to wander off and catch that June bus when it turns up. Congrats to all the BFPs on here

CharlottesClan · 22/08/2010 10:46

um ive done about 10 tests Blush
ive got another thread about my evaporation lines on here. i got a faint line cd28 a couple of hours after the test. and a darker line with fmu cd29 a couple of hours after.

im being assured they are evaps tho, so serves me right really.

retesting tuesday. with a proper one anyway, still working my way thru the ebay cheapies! tho i dont expect a line on them as they are so rubbish. i get them mainly for my fix lol!

LittleMilla · 22/08/2010 10:40

Charlotte - I had symptoms this week and then felt fine yesteday and this morning. So despite a sleepless night only thinking about it, i'd sort of told myself it'd be a BFN.

How many tests have you done? Are you late? I've managed to manke myself late through stress before, so perhaps you just need to try and distract yourself (or get pished) to take your mind off it.

Good luck! LM xxx

CharlottesClan · 22/08/2010 10:19

morning guys.
still no positive test or af. dh has banned me from testing till tuesday which seems like a lifetime away.

was feeling sick thursday, friday and yesterday, but i feel normal today. so thinking maybe it was the excitement of it all BlushBlush

congrats to the bfps on here in the last few days, not been able to get on as dh has had control of the computer for uni work (his extension deadline is tomorrow) ive just jumped on while he makes lunch lol!

zinnia · 22/08/2010 10:03

Wow LittleMilla shortest bus ride ever! Congrats, that's fantastic news.

lola any news before list update...?

and wombat - cautious woo-hoo!

LittleMilla · 22/08/2010 09:57

So, I will be very annoying and say that I got a BFP this morning! In shock Shock and still not getting too excited - need to see GP and get through first 12 weeks. In typical me style I am CONVINCED that something bad will happen.

Jeepers!!

Will keep y'all posted and I'm sending lots of positive thoughts to everyone on here.

Congrats to Lola and Wombat! Grin

lateatwork · 22/08/2010 06:47

morning all! 8rubberduckies please save me a red mini animal cake. may just have it for breakfast... yum!

might start my excercise regime this cycle. nah. maybe not..

i have moved myself down to the back of the bus and have squeazed in next to prinpo... am feeling like a bit of an imposter as i think date would now be june 01... but on basis that i will be falling pregnant with twins this month (one girl, one boy) i will stay on there as they normally come early...Grin ...touch of the first day fantasies here...

Mmmmm Nom Nom I'll have a ... red... no blue... no RED cupcake puleeze 8rubberduckies, hope the birthday party was a great success and you all enjoyed yourselves immensely. My DS was two at the end of July. lots of fun... well the party was these last few weeks have been crazy, he's really stepped up a notch with the 'terrible two's' (I hate that saying but it does sum up the last few days, he found a tub of vaseline at the back of the bathroom drawer, then pulled my jewellery box off the dresser and annihilate a clinque lipstick and today skipped his nap and half emptied a tube of Weleda nappy cream over himself and his bed!!!!!!!!)

As for keeping up the SWI for weeks you and your DH deserve a medal!!! That is a lot of obligational nookie (YKWIM), so I sure hope one of those little swimmers is up for the job!!!!

Sending lots n lots of graduation dust to lola and wombat
