Are they any good?

I received one of their catalogues and the deals look too good to be true - is there a catch??

I got a catalogue too and was wondering if they were OK. Will definitely be doing an order then

It's not a club.
They're fantastic.
Only problem I have with them is my tendency to overspend by ordering too many books.

IdrisTheDragon · 13/10/2008 13:54

Bookpeople are great - it's not a club, you don't have to buy any books, you just get them whenever you want.

JackieNoHeadJustABloodyStump · 13/10/2008 13:54

They're not really a club, as such - you just order what you want, when/if you want it.

Tiggiwinkle · 13/10/2008 13:54

The Book People is not a "club" as such and is actually very good. There is no catch and no obligation to buy anything further. I have bought loads of books from them over the years.

The book club are excellent - it does what it says on the tin.

No catch, they are brilliant, have used them for years, check red house and school link too.

I don't trust these book clubs as far as I can throw them. Amazon. Or the library.
