Is anyone else a closet Chalet School reader?

I started reading Chalet School books when I was about 10 & kept on reading them throughout my teenage years, when I started work & had more money, i carried on collecting them. I've got a full set at my parents house. Since I started with ME/CFS I sometimes find it hard to concentrate on a book, I love to read & I've recently found the new Chalet School books by other authors, I've started buying them & have rediscovered my love for the Chalet School.

Does anyone else read them as an adult?

Literally just reading ‘three goes’ and chuckling over prefects being diagnosed with jaundice. And it’s catching!

Yes! Loved them as a kid, love them as an adult, even though I can now see the flaws in them.
I’m just catching up on some of the ones I never read or don’t have in the online library

Love Chalet School books, been reading them again whilst settling little one. Well chuffed to see a thread as I thought I was the only one!
