Children's book club - Bing: Bed Time by Ted Dewan

You may remember a comp we ran last year to celebrate the publication of Bing: Get Dressed. We're delighted that the second Bing story - this time Bing: Bedtime is kicking off the New Year as one of our Jan children's book club choices. Share the ups and downs of everyday life in this playful pre-school series from award-winning picture book creator Ted Dewan.

Find out more and apply for one of 50 free copies. If you're one of the lucky 50 you will be notified on Tuesday 7 Jan and once you've had chance to read the book we'll ask you to post a review or let us know what you think on this thread.

Received my copy yesterday and read to my little four yr old at bedtime. She loved it. So much so, that I've had to leave it by the bed so we can read it again today! She thinks Bing is cute. It's a good book for little ones especially if you are trying to get them into some routine at bedtime. The book is easy to follow, bright and colourful. Thanks for sending this. Good book for little ones.

I eventually got the Bing book today (not Mumsnet's fault, I know they'd passed my details on straight away). Initially I was a little concerned when I saw on the first page, the reply to 'Ready to Read?' was 'Yup!'. I do try very hard not to introduce any slang type words to my little one's vocabulary and didn't really want this becoming the word of the moment.
Anyway, I managed to skip that page, which wasn't difficult, and was pleasantly surprised with the rest of the book, and we recognised a few things from bedtime in our home! We both agreed that Bing was very cute, but we are bunny rabbit lovers in our home anyway!

We read Bing get dressed & loved it so fingers crossed as would love to read as a family the sequel!!

Oh, I hope we get this one. Several times a week I find myself saying 'Good for you Bing Bunny!' in response to something DD has said :)
