My daughter loved the HP books, now finished them all, and want another book/series of books to motivate her into reading feverishly once more?

I'd second ShinyMoon's list

The Hunger Games trilogy by Suzanne Collins
The Gone series by Michael Grant
Wee Free Men - a great intro to Terry Pratchett books!
Artemis Fowl - Eoin Colfer
The Spooks Apprentice series by Joseph Delaney
Magyk, Flyte, Physik (there's more but can't remember the titles) by Angie Sage

Anything by Dianna Wynne Jones - Howls Moving Castle and the Enchanted Glass are my favourites!

I agree with The Dark Materials Trilogy.

Steve Augarde - The Touchstone Trilogy is great too.

The Ingo series by Helen Dunmore

The Seeing Stone series by Kevin Crossley-Holland

All fantastic!

Def. Percy Jackson
Chrestomanci series by Diana Wynne Jones
Roman Mysteries

DD is currently reading the Eragon trilogy which she was given as a birthday present & says is very good.

Also recently read Fly by Night by Frances Hardinge which isn't a series (well, there's two of them) but she did like a lot
