It can't be announced because it has to have 3 weeks quality assurance.....but I am certainly not unhappy

nomoreamover · 09/03/2009 20:30

as long as parents have signed to say thats what they want to happen then yes I am sure you are covered from ofsted POV - but check with your insurer whether you would be insured - if not you need to put as much in the permission letter.

southernbelle77 · 09/03/2009 19:47

I've remembered...

If an afterschoolie (yr 6) needs to walk back (with parents say so) to mine after a club which I can't pick up from, am I allowed to let this happen if I have a permission letter from parent?

southernbelle77 · 09/03/2009 19:39

Well done Katy, it sounds like it went well.

Good luck on hearing about the job Shoshe.

Can anyone answer me a question - if you are doing 2 hours a week 'as a favour' for someone, do you need a contract? I know I should know the answer but can't remember if I need to do not! I'm sure I probably do but didn't want to 'waste' a contract when I'm helping a friend out (don't let ofsted hear me say that!)

There was something else I needed to ask as well but can't remember that for now so will have to pop back later!

nannynick · 09/03/2009 18:33

I hope that 'very pleased' means its good news. Far better than your earlier message saying it was going very badly.

well done katy - can't wait to find out what you got when you get the report through!

KatyMac · 09/03/2009 18:08

Gosh I am glad that is over

Now I just have my mum having major surgery & being in hospital for 2 weeks and then incapacitated for 2 months plus my dad phoning & asking for a lift home - in the middle of my inspection, because his car broke down

Shoshe · 09/03/2009 17:43

oh and well done katy

Shoshe · 09/03/2009 17:42

No no news but have just found out that they write to you and get Refs first, so London will prob know before me as she is one of my references.

mumsanutter · 09/03/2009 17:05

AT least you got longer than you were expecting to get then. I'll say congrats

Is there any news from Shoshe???

nomoreamover · 09/03/2009 14:20

Oh katy I am sure it will work out well in the end - they are bound to be more gruelling on a first EYFS inspection.

Thinking of you x

KatyMac · 09/03/2009 14:14

Numberfour · 09/03/2009 14:06

mumlove · 09/03/2009 13:58

Afternoon everyone.

Hope all the ofsted inspections are going well.

Shoshe - Hopefully good news. Fingers crossed.

Katy - Big {{{hugs}}}

Have a fabulous day

nannynick · 09/03/2009 13:18

Hope your Ofsted inspections go well.
I'm not working today. Just turned down last minute babysitting, as I don't feel like hurrying back home.
Did you get snow yesterday? Here in Wiltshire it snowed 5pm-7pm ish, settled on rooftops, trees etc. All gone by morning.

HSMM · 09/03/2009 12:40

Yse, I've done E123 and E124 and E115. Do E115 if you do not care about the environment and want to create a paper mountain!! U212 is a bit wierd, because I am not allowed to write about myself, or what I think ....

nomoreamover · 09/03/2009 11:19

HSMM - have you done E123 and E124? I found the first few TMAs for them a total mare - turns out I was "over complicating them"....once I got that sorted in my head it was cool! Well done on your 60%!

katymac- GOOD LUCK TODAY!! Thank you for remembering me - sadly my inspection has now been put off til next wed or thurs .... what an anti climax.....

shoshe - ooo exciting good luck!

As for me - this morning was HELL ON EARTH....before school mindees had big fight with DS1 resulting in one mindee and DS1 crying and refusing to go to school....oh the joys of ADHD........poor little lambs I did feel for them - it was a total misunderstanding that spiralled out of control - shows how quick it blows though!

All 3 children here today are sleeping at the same time - oh the bliss!!!

HSMM · 09/03/2009 09:17

Thanks KatyMac - It's always a bit of a worry when I send in my 1st assignment with a new Tutor, because they all seem to want slightly different approaches.

KatyMac · 09/03/2009 09:11

Wow you must be pleased 60% is great

HSMM · 09/03/2009 07:54

Got U212 TMA result - 60%
