Childminders with no mindees - lets all be lonely together!

I'm a minder with no mindees. I keep reading threads by others in the same boat and thought why don't we all kill our spare time and have a moan together. You never know we might even get the odd parent looking and be 'childless' no more!

Hi everyone
well its good to know I am not on my own.
I will soon be childless.only got 2 weeks left and have also been cut from 3 days per week down to 2 days.
Have had vacancies advertised for months now and just never get any calls.
so after 9.5 years if things dont change soon i will be looking for a new job.
If anyone out there is looking for a childminder in the HENDON / COLLINDALE area I am available 4 days per week or available for short term or emergency cover.
I am also considering nanny work in north London area.
I have 13 years nursery experience and 9.5 childminding.

Not sure if this is Ok to ask this on this thread, but given that you're all experts....what sort of prices can I expect to pay for three days a week child-minding in south London, 8am-6pm? We're TTC and I'm panicking that we'll not be able to afford to live once I'm back at work.
