Nanny / Au Pair Employers night out 30th May in London (near Victoria station)

So after this weeks shenanigans I think we should all go out and have some fun.

I have roped Squiffy into it (although a lot of arm twisting was not needed).

So, here's the deal (if Squiffy agrees):
Noura in Belgravis
7:00 onwards

If anyone wants to meet for drink before dinner I'm sure we can organise a nearby pub. I probably won't make until dinner but feel free to get started without me.

Well, I was going to suggest 4th July but then thought you might be doing something patriotic that day? 11th or 18th July work for me as well. (the next 2 June dates are not so good)

If we move to non-Friday nights the vista opens much wider for me in terms of dates...

What do you think?

I like the idea of Noura, and agree that we should start a new thread....

I was still in, but DH announced last night that he had organised a friend of ours to babysit on Friday so that he could take me out for our wedding anniversary (which is on Sat technically). Not sure I can really turn that down for a mumsnet bash, great though you guys are, of course!

I think if we start a new thread with a completely different title people might not realise it't the same event on a new date.

I was born on Friday 13th - lucky from my perspective, probably not from DM's (given I was six weeks premature).

13th then? what's the etiquette - do we need to start another thread? Shall we stick with the "employers" theme or go for something more inclusive?

Oh, here it is. I forgot this was in the nanny section. Couldn't find it in meet-ups. But, LA has set me back on course and pointed me over her.

But....

Last time I saw this thread there were only 2 of us on it... and one or two maybes. So, figuring it was going to get cancelled I promised DH that I wasn't going out on Friday. Bugger bugger bugger....

So, unless I can persuade you guys to reschedule, I'm going to miss it. Damn! I hate to miss a party. I'm pathetic, I know.

WEll, I watch the thread and if others would be happy to change the date I'm in. But, I'll have to miss it if it stays this Friday.

I'd love to come to Victoria but I'm flying back from Africa (work not fun I promise) that day so I'll have to see how it goes. Is that all right?
And also Mrs R, I haven't had an invite to your exclusive club and I assume this is an oversight
