After my absolutely disasterous experience of hiring a nanny, I'm thinking of setting up an email-based support group for employers of nannies. Would anyone be interested in joining?

*the words "employer" and "nanny" should be interpreted broadly.

Maybe you should climb out of your hole and attend a meet-up and you will see how kind/caring/generous all these people are and totally the same as their mumsnet persona.

Waves at boss .......

My boss is on mumsnet and she knows what I am like in RL. She would be proud of me for sticking up for a nanny who she knows well and thinks is great..I hope she would not want to be friends with many of you... infact she thinks most of you are fruitloops (which was the warning she gave me when she recommended mumsnet to me!)

Im a lovely caring nanny with 11yrs fab references, lovely current family. Own children who are gorgeous and well adjusted.

This is not RL.... Most of the people on here are not who they seem and are not like their online characters. FACT

Or rather pays her to be on MN all day long.

No wonder us nanny employers need a support forum if she is a fine upstanding example of the nanny profession.
