@Lisa3kids hi hun yeah I’ve seen a lot of people have had this happen to them it happened to my friend not long ago contradicting what they’ve Put in the form and also saying they can do stuff which you have put that your child can’t ,, she did a MR and decision was overturned ,, before I sent my form I took pictures of every page I wrote on due to this so they couldn’t say I said he can do something excetra xx

Lisa3kids · 08/02/2024 12:02

As some know last week my son was declined dla I’ve just received the reason why statement and doesn’t make much sense where I’ve said what he can’t do has come back that he can do I’m so confused did my DM not read my forms
properly? Has anybody else came across this

@Mrssnee16 Thankyou so much for your reply it’s made me feel abit better now and not as worried and anxious ,, do you think the evidence I have already sent in will be enough for them to make a decision? we have our first speech and language appointment the 19th of this month and I’m awaiting socialcommunication pathway exceptance when I get that extra evidence I will send it to them and hopefully we get a decision soon xx

Send any and all evidence once you receive just be on the safe side. I went into detail about how his different needs and issues affect him on a daily and nightly basis, even down to how it takes both myself and husband just to get him washed in the bath as his sensory delay is so bad with water. You can always request a MR if you don't get the award you feel DC deserves. Good luck xx

GirlMamasClub · 08/02/2024 06:10

@TamGirl89 i didn’t actually, I listed some key points, but kept it simple. I rang Monday this week to update on a diagnosis and meds, that’s when she said I’d been awarded x

@Mykidsmyworld4 i sent no evidence, I didn’t even get anyone else to write on the form. My little girl was awarded hrc/lrm and received money today. Scan date 3/10. I spent so many sleepless nights with worry over this. Trust in yourself, you know your child and your words on that form count. Sending you positivity xx

This makes me feel a little better about my son's application! I did get school to write something but that's it! Can I be cheeky and ask.. did you do a big writeup at all? And a huge congratulations btw 💕 x

hi can I ask if anyone has been awarded for possible ASD no diagnoses ,, i am currently waiting for a claim for my son with possible ASD no diagnoses yet scan date 22/11 he is only 2 hees 3 in march physically violent to others and himself non verbal doesn’t interact with staff or children at nursery and violent towards other children at school very sensory and overstimulated all the time & holds ears and screams when theirs loud noises & extremely minimal interaction for family smashes things can’t ask for a drink food excetra eats minimal diet and inedible items screams and has severe meltdowns all the time does not sleep I have to safe guard my 1 and 4 year old because of how violent he is throws toys punches hits bites them excetra ,,, I am lucky if I get an hour or 2 hours sleep a night he is extremely delayed in a lot of basic skills ,, I have some evidence which I sent along from 2 different paediatricians and school filled in the someone who knows the child , he is very delayed in speach and language are first appointment for speach and language is 19th of this month delayed in interaction and other things do you think this is all enough information to have sent and when we get more info about ASD pathway acceptance and speach and language proof and input to send that in too ?? we are waiting for the confirmation of acceptance to social communication pathway for an ASD assessment As school did that earlier then 3 years due to a big family history of ASD thanks in advance x

Hi lovely, my son is 3. On asd waiting list, has gdd diagnosis, non verbal, social and communication delay, no danger awareness, not keen on sleeping at night, erratic behaviour but not much violence. Sensory delay, vitamin d deficiency. I sent in speech and language report, physiotherapy report, paediatric dr report and a letter from his portage worker. He was recently awarded HRC.

Emma2345 · 07/02/2024 22:47

@ThatsGoingToHurt ok Thankyou yeah school are going to apply for an EHCP the nursery he is in is a sure stsrt nursery but it’s with in the school grounds of the propper school he will be attending so they have said they are going to apply for the EHCP to be done for September when he starts propper nursery at 3 years of age I’m so stressed with worry as I no he is entitled
to dla and It was school and the HV who mentioned me applying for it as he requires extra care and supervision both day and night , I have had to replace my cooker as he smashed the glass and 2 tvs alone in the last 5 months due to the meltdowns he has he has threw things at them and smashed them which aren’t cheap ,, and also because he has no sense of danger awareness and climbes out of pram and runs off near busy roads and also if I have reins or hold his hands he bites me and kicks off to the point I have nearly let go of his hand and hees tried to run into the roads and because he also doesn’t sleep another reason we have to get taxis to and from school is because I am so exhausted waking up after only 2 hours of broken sleep to get them to school on time and also I pay £280 a month for him to go school 4 full days a week to try and bring him on in interaction and speach and language excetra he has been going their since April last year and they now no it’s all likely linked to ASD and we’re going down that pathway but the money would help out massively with all of the things he brakes and to pay towards transport to and from excetra Thankyou when was ur scan date? X

ThatsGoingToHurt · 07/02/2024 22:37

@Emma2345 I’m awaiting on a decisions for my 3 year old likely autistic son. I sent with it the Pre-schools EHCP application, an educational consultant report and and a communication and interaction report, and the letter saying he had been accepted onto the NHS autism waitlist in my area.. I don’t have a diagnosis as I’ve been told it’s a 3.5 year wait!

Thursday I was told still had 2 weeks wait... but Friday was awarded and found out today. Hopefully soon for you. No text or letter yet. Pending payment so called x

ThatsGoingToHurt · 06/02/2024 21:49

Parking. I sent the form off on the 1/11. I can’t remember the scan date but I’m guessing around 8/11. I’m tempted to ring up next week just to check they have added the extra evidence to my sons claim.

Brokenangel20200 · 06/02/2024 21:30

Scan date 05/10

Livd99 · 06/02/2024 18:32
