Looloo12332 · 14/11/2023 06:05

Congratulations ladies well done to you both!!.I think if yoir muk claims carers it will affect your award of uc but double check lovely
I'm so happy for u both

dlaclaim · 14/11/2023 04:37

Scan date 7.7, awarded last Thursday which was a day off 18 weeks. Confirmation letter arrived yesterday, middle rate care, low rate mobility.

Can I ask please, my child and I live with my DM who shares his care with me. I earn a little too much to claim Carers Allowance and have just been migrated on to UC from Tax credits. Can DM claim Carers Allowance ( she meets the general criteria) or will this affect me claiming carers element on UC?

Mamabearalw · 14/11/2023 03:06

I'm the scan date as you good luck to us both let's hope we all get what our dc deserve

Looloo12332 · 13/11/2023 23:51

Hi I hope u don't mind me joining in.My scan date is tye 14/8 so a long way for me yet.I didn't send off any evidence but the school is now doing me a supporting letter to send off to them.My daughter is 6 in year 2 she can't read or write amd her understanding of language is very bad she has no stranger danger and will go off with anyone. The ALENCO at her school os convinced she is ADHD not the hyperactive type the attention deficit type. She isn't evan at nursery level and her teacher has said she is really struggling now.I have a meeting with the advisory teacher from the council on the 24th with her school also.We have agreed a unit is bed for her and I am now waiting fir school psychologist to get in touch to see what's available to her.she is verbal and thrives at sport she is a tough case and to the outside world seems like she has no problems but she can't evan write her own name.I really dint think she will get dla but I will take to MR with more evidence if she gets declined I did write on the form to please contact her school and they will tell you all her needs

What information do I need to give when I ring I keep trying I’m on call for an hour then I have to give up as something else comes up..
scan date 14/7
text date 9/10

They will ask your reference number (will be on the letter saying they received your forms) then ask your child's name and your name then questions for security purposes, ie what bank you bank with, address and postcode etc.. xxx

Jaffacakesrlife · 13/11/2023 21:42

Good Luck like myself still waiting. hopefully we get some good news soon x

Emma461 · 13/11/2023 21:41

My daughter had an ILP (individual learning plan) but this wasn't enough, after 3 years of struggling in mainstream ( Covid held us back) I requested an EHCP from the local authority and the school provided all the details of support they'd given and my daughter was finally awarded an EHCP (July ) and has just received a placement in a setting that's perfect for her and with one to one support. Not many parents are aware they can request the EHCP so thought I'd bring it to your attention just incase :)

crazytimes20 · 13/11/2023 21:29

Thanks for the new thread. Scan date 25/7, last txt was 23/10, yorkshire. Applied for my 9 year old autistic son. Patiently waiting...16 weeks tomorrow. Starting to drag pretty bad now. Good luck everyone.

Mrsstephens04 · 13/11/2023 21:28

Jude82 · 13/11/2023 19:47

@Mrsstephens04 yet someone today has been awarded with 27/07 date so he can’t know that without taking your details. Don’t let that put you off calling again and hopefully getting someone more compassionate

Thank you, I was thinking of ringing again tomorrow but it literally would be my luck I'd get the same bloke answer again 🤣🤣 I've seen a few awards from the 27/7 on here and Facebook and a couple jn early Aug. It makes no sense

BoyGirlMomxox · 13/11/2023 21:18
