Still went to the scrap store last night, and got loads of sticky bits so going to put loadson the kitchen table and just let them go for it this morning.

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 20:29

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 20:22

i'll check out the hamster/ofsted thingie......

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 20:21

I'm brand new to this mumsnet gubbins. It's nice to meet some more childminders!

MaureenMLove · 14/11/2007 20:19

Will do! Fanks!

Fruitloop, are you new to MN or just a lurker? Have you seen the Hamster/Ofsted thread? Its hilarious!

I'm brand new to Facebook, I felt I should get with the prgramme, find out what all the fuss was about. I'm quite chuffed that I've got Facebook and DD hasn't! She's 12 and laughs at me when I don't know how to use my mobile phone properly. I have 4 friends. One is my rl friend, the other are from the staff room! I've been racking my brains all day for some rl friends! My Ozzy mate should be on over night. Gosh that'll make 5! Looney's sooo popular, she's got loads!

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 20:19

I found mumsnet through a group on FB. I thought it was just for buying and selling stuff!
Yeah FB can get a little boring but always nice to have a nose at who's doing what. Can't stand all those poker/warewolves/pirate applications that drives me insane!

StrawberryMartini · 14/11/2007 20:16

Oh I'm so bored of facebook! I don't think I've even logged on for weeks. However I wouldn't have met Looney or become addicted to MN had I not joined!

looneytune · 14/11/2007 20:10

You now have lots of fish and I fed them - look after them!!!

Now send me some - I've just added the application!

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 20:10

so are you all facebookers too?

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 20:08

GrinGrinGrinGrin

MaureenMLove · 14/11/2007 20:06

Of course! I sent them a virtual up yours!

StrawberryMartini · 14/11/2007 19:56

Maureen have you told Ofsted about your imminent fish?

MaureenMLove · 14/11/2007 19:55

Oh, no fish to feed is there! I think it says 'give me a fish' somewhere! I'm not very good at this am I? Can you tell I'm old?

MaureenMLove · 14/11/2007 19:53

Oh don't, my neighbours have just bought hamsters! I'm dreading them going away next year. In fact, so are they, the littliest one (7yr old) asked Kbear if she could look after them instead of me!

You go to my page and it says 'feed me fish'.

looneytune · 14/11/2007 19:51

Mo - sure you said you were't good at looking after other creatures.....don't you accidentally kill them? Sorry.....not putting poor fish in your tank!!! (actually, I don't have one so don't know how to send)

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 19:46

maureen - unfortunately I dont live in the posh part of SW London, I live in Merton, It's practically Colliers Wood or Collywood as I like to call it

MaureenMLove · 14/11/2007 19:41

Oi! You people who call yourself friends on my Facebook! I've got a fish tank ready and waiting for fish and no bugger has bought me any yet!

I don't know, I feed Kbears fish, I answer calls for help about puke and the removal of the after-smell, do my best to be in the staff room as early as poss, so the early risers amongst us aren't lonely. All I want is fish, but noooo....

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 19:29

I meant 'finish' ah, I'm so tired. I think save gym for another day

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 19:28

glutton for punishment! I'd still love to start at 5.30 though. I bet you're shattered after all that.

looneytune · 14/11/2007 19:28

Do you still finish at 3pm on a Friday?? I'd LOVE that (although I'm quite lucky that my current mindees tend to get picked up up to an hour early on Friday most of the time )

shoshaliteupthetree · 14/11/2007 18:57

ahh but frutie I did start at 7am i do 7-5.30 everyday with three fulltimers all under 20 months and two schoolies of 5 and 6

fruitloop79 · 14/11/2007 18:20

wow shoshalite, you've finished nice and early. I'm only just about to get rid of my last mindee. should be finished about 7! Just wondering whether to go Gym or not. I hate going but it's sooo bloody expensive! feel like I need to get my money's worth!

shoshalite · 14/11/2007 17:49

Mo they do 'street dancing', kind of like modern dance to pop songs.

We started initially beacuse DS1 (age7)was VERY un coordinated, then DS2 (age 5) started as well. It's great, they can do a bit of breakdancing, 'busted' jumps plus your run-of-the-mill classical-style steps.

Confidence up

Tripping-overs down

MaureenMLove · 14/11/2007 17:40

What sort of dance do they do? I do salsa with Kbear. We haven't been for a while though, life is getting in the way too much. Oh, excusssse me! Dinners gone down!

MaureenMLove · 14/11/2007 17:35

God, this child is sooo fussy. He wouldn't eat his baked beans because he thought he was getting sweetcorn! Me thinks he is pandered to at home! I know he likes beans, he's had them a million times, but because he was expecting sweetcorn, he doesn't want them! Needless to say, he's back at the table eating them!
