Maureenmlove, hope you survived liked your ravishing bonus

Kiddi · 12/10/2007 17:41

To be fair to have a blokey(mate) being paid to fit it but its all the extra stuff, and moving cupboards around, ( already made up) as bought EX display and have twice as much as we need(still big bargain). Also using some units in playroom, fitting them myself, but cant get in there yet, also on E124 course sat pm and birthday parties sunday.
RE cakes oops already been, had pasty too as no kitchen, bought DS some but forgot about you lot SOZ
PS do have a DH on childcare duties but physical graft not his cup of tea. ah bless him

MaureenMLove · 12/10/2007 17:34

Nice mindee story to finish the week, I think!

Mindee is still here. You'll remember I was happy that I finish at 5 on Fridays now. So dad phoned about 15 minutes ago, to say that he was stuck in traffic, but nearly here and he'd got a little Friday night bonus for me since he was late! ....Actually, thinking about it, I don't know what it is yet I may not want him it!

MaureenMLove · 12/10/2007 17:29

Of course you're welcome Kiddi! However new members do have to bring cakes! Since you don't have much of a kitchen atm, we'll let you off though! What a busy weekend you have. I hope it doesn't take all weekend. DH has a tendancy to say, 'it'll only be a 2 minute job' and 4 hours later.....

Kiddi · 12/10/2007 17:21

Hope Im welcome here as Im usually too busy with my many minions to get anywhere near the comp but Im off today, and am totally sick of playing outdoors and MAGNETIX with my DS off on TEday. I have a kitchen to help fit this weekend in order to get my playrooom back for monday so please fingers crossed for me, It all started two weeks ago when i Saw a MOUSE in my kitchen! Ir ripped kitchen out last weekend except for sink, electrician yesterday, plasterer today, yes it was meant to be monday but best laid plans etc. got drier thingy on over drive at the mo REALLY HOPE I HAVE A HOUSE BACK BY MONDAY.

MaureenMLove · 12/10/2007 17:07

Tick tock, tick tock - typical, its gone 5 and my usually spot on time dad isn't here! I won't moan though, it'll only be a matter of minutes! I'm dying to do some house work, I need to clear a space for my piano!

Megsdaughter · 12/10/2007 15:09

You dont have to be its not the Surestart one, its one by a nutritionist, actually going into proper nutrition (the surestart one was more about what Ofsted want than actual Nutrition)

maximummummy · 12/10/2007 13:59

hi everyone

bye everyone !!!!

now i have to go back to work !!

MaureenMLove · 12/10/2007 13:32

Just found a thread by rainbow71 about a CP problem she's got! Its terrible!

We defo need to get more assertive!

Saz73 · 12/10/2007 13:15

Looney will tell you i've got 'mug' tattooed on my fore head when it comes to mindees parents. Not sure how to approach it as I feel bad going behind her back seeing the chemist.

We defo need a assertiveness course, my DH keeps telling me to be more assertive and he's the worst for taking the piss mick can't say no to him either

bloodsuckingLOONEY · 12/10/2007 13:07

I'm so not with it this week am I - the cabin fever has well and truly got to me

Just put dinner in the slow cooker and it's made me hungry so off to make some lunch.

Saz73 · 12/10/2007 13:05

4hr 56 mins till last mindee goes home, not that I'm really counting.

Looney you keep falling for these pranks

Megsdaughter · 12/10/2007 13:03

hEHe only ever drunk gin once, I was sooooooooooooooooo sick, I stuck to the whisky.

And yes I do wear a apron, a bright red one

OP posts:
MaureenMLove · 12/10/2007 13:00

Do you really wear an apron Meg? You sound just like Mary Poppins...... which brings me to another Mo & Kbear night out! She had a fancy dress party for her 30th and I went as Mary Poppins, but dd was very little at the time, so I hadn't got my drinking head back on and I drunk probably 3/4 of bottle of gin and at the end her brother sat me in the middle of the hall slumped in a chair, hat squew wiff, swinging my umbrella! Oh, we got chucked out of the cab too, because I needed to be sick!

MaureenMLove · 12/10/2007 12:56

Ah, didn't it work, did it? I've been busy doing cm duties all morning! Drinking coffee indeed - never! You notice that neither me or Meg have been here all morning - its the rest of 'em!

So, whats happening with this parent of the CP child SAZ? She sounds like a complete PITA.

Do you think we could arrange some assertiveness classes? Some of us, including me, seem to be complete wusses lately, when it comes to telling parents how it is!

Megsdaughter · 12/10/2007 12:29

hrumphhhhhhh

I dont know why you would think Maureen and I would sit around all day drinking coffee???

(well in Mo's case it would be wine)

I am far to dedicated and professional
