WELCOME

My name is Kelly Rainbow,I am 30 years old,I have always wanted to be a childminder from watching my aunt do it from an early age,I admire her and want to be just as good as she is.

... I became an Ofsted registered Childminder in october 2007. I live in the Bentley area of Walsall with my husband Darren and our 2 children Téa and Alfie.

My last Ofsted inspection I was graded a GOOD. This is avaliable for viewing on the ofsted website when i pass you my registration number my inspecion was on the 15th January 2010.

I decided to become a childminder because i want to spend time with my children but also need to earn a living, I enjoy being around children helping and watching them develop.

I like most childminders now work with the EYFS (Early Years Foundation Stage) guidelines.

EYFS sets the standards for all child care, nurseries, childminders and children in reception years. The main aims for EYFS is to help each child to achieve the five outcomes:

To be healthy
To be safe
To make positive contribution
To acheive economic wellbeing
Learning for the future
