This is shocking-CM with 15 children in her care

wouldnt you think your child would tell you things?

when i had a cm i also used to go in and have a coffee with her when i collected dd

things started to go pearshaped and dd used to tell me strange things, cm used to try to cover it up and lied.

I can't believe none of the parents went further than her front door though. I would think as soon as you entered her home it would be obvious how many children were there, wouldn't it?

The report does say that she was careful to hide all this from the parents. I know it may sound unbelievable, but this is obviously one conniving woman.

But I do think the parents should take some responsiblity. Need not one of those parents think anything strange about the fact that there were that many children in her care??

surely the children must have been unhappy to go there.

OMG that is dreadfull
how the hell did she get away with it for so long? and how did the parents not know?
theres a cm near me that has a 7 seater full of children and 3 or 4 others running behind the car on way to and from school,she has the music so loud in her car,(ok its nursery rhymes) that you can hear her coming a mile off and shes been seen with a fag hanging out of her gob while driving the kids about!
p**ses me off so much that parents use her.aslong as people keep putting their children in her care shes getting away with it.
really pees me off even more at the mo as im struggling to find mindees and shes over run with them.

shosha, perhaps the parents did know but didn't care? Unfortunately there are parents (not many) out there who will think that as long as they are getting childcare they won't care how many mindees the CM has. That's not to say that they were aware of how she was treating them though.

Not being funny and defending her in anyway the woman wants shooting, but didnt the parents realise there was that many children there, my parents know how many kids I have? Its shosha by the way, had mjor PC problems and lost everything had to reregister everything aaagghhhhhhh

I find it quite shocking that the only recourse taken was to cancel her registration as a CM - I mean all those parents whose children were ill-cared for and from whom she exhorted money...allegedly to provide a quality service - that can't be right!
