My CM has found a lump in her breast which obviously she's worried sick about and has booked herself an appointment at a private hospital for Tuesday, she's told me this, not asked if it's ok iyswim. Now I know i'd be worried to death about finding a lump but I really cannot take this time off and DH would be unpaid which we can't afford. I don't want to sound like a heartless cow but she had Friday off at short notice for an uncles funeral and now this, would it be completely awful to ask her to rebook for Wednesday ?

See, I told you! Jerry Springer

AngelaChill · 06/09/2006 19:13

Well I can live with your opinion honey, now move along

Ok then, you're not a troll but a very cold and heartless person IMO. You're CM is well rid! I'm really pleased she was ok.

AngelaChill · 06/09/2006 19:10

I have a pretty thick skin and am not one to be called names and meekly put up with it. I admited a long, long time ago that asking for the appointment to be moved was not the best idea I had had this year and also that relying on one source of childcare clearly wasn't working - and btw neither will I be next month much to my relief.

400 odd posts it utterly ridiculas so I am not continuing with this but neither do I except to be chased around the board being called a troll

OK ?

I'd forgotten about the golf comment. Yeah, I'm back to thinking she must be a troll. Would anyone really think the things she's saying if it was true. So so worrying if it is true. And you're suppose to be her friend! Confused

beckybrastraps · 06/09/2006 19:06

When I first joined MN, there was a thread started by someone called Vaunda, about her son, which developed rather like this one: people trying to catch her out, and posting things which would be incredibly hurtful to a real poster. I don't know how it panned out in the end, but then, as now, I wondered how it kept going so long. If I were a genuine poster and I had received some of the comments that AC had, I would not still be here. That is odd. And so is the constant goading and testing. What is the point?

I'm sorry but IMO Happymumof2 was just trying to catch her out thinking she was a troll! I don't personally think what she said was anywhere near as bad as some of the cold, heartless posts by the AngelaChill.

This is all going a bit Jerry Springer now. "She called me a slag...I'm norra f*ckin slag" "I nevva said you was a slag..."

Please! There are ladies present

looneytune · 06/09/2006 18:59

Well if she's not a troll then I'm even more that anyone could be so heartless!

This was another really annoying post!

Well the outcomes is that of course the lump is a cyst which needs removing on the NHS at Christmas.
I actually blame the CM's mother for the hysteria and panic but there you go.

Well if you're attitude towards people who have suffered is a reflection on you then I think you are an awfully cold person!! I've only picked a couple of bits out from earlier in the thread but I think how you responded was HORRIBLE!!! First one was just after someone mentioned having just lost her mum to Breast Cancer

AngelaChill on Sunday, 3 September, 2006 4:07:53 PM
My final word and you can all carry on without me with tears in your eyes if you must, is that I will have to resign, end of.

Flossam - nobody is being heartless - your mum is a very different kettle of fish, for a start she is the right age to be at risk of Breast Cancer, my CM isn't, it will be extremely unlucky if that is what she has. I'm afraid on planet real world, people cannot drop everything and that would include me if I had the lump.

In your quest for the truth you basically called me a slag - you don't have to apologise but that's a reflection of you and you were very out of order.

HMo2, don't drag this nonsense out any longer...surely it would be better to just let it fizzle out?
