hi all,

dd1 is almost 7 amd is being quite horrible towards mindee's - not sharing/ taking things away, being bossy, pulling them around and giving evil looks. just generally not being nice. when mindee (age 3) started he was very affectionate towards dd1 and has a very pleasant nature but now (only 2 weeks on) he cant stand to be near her tells her he doesnt like her etc and then she comes crying to me because he wont play with her etc i have to say its because of the way she treats him (depending on her mood)

so how can we start again?

i was really really enjoying this new career but now i feel like giving up because my dd isnt happy and part of the reason i started this was so she could have me around and i could watch her grow up.

when she's at school mindee is very content and happy but when she's around he's unhappy and i wonder how long it will be before his mum decides she doesnt want to bring him anymore (we are still in our 1st mth trial).

Is the mindee playing with things that belong to your dd? I would ensure that any of her things that she really doesn't want someone else to have get put away.

I guess you probably already do this, but try to ensure that your dd gets individual attention when no mindees are around.

Can you go down the star chart route?

My DD loves the mindees - so I can't be much help

Mind you she also prefers my helpers to me - so I'm not always the flavour of the month

Sorry, can't really offer any advice, having problems with 11 year old DD attitude to the amount of timew that I spend with mindees! must be a universal thing!!
