I use a side by side double buggy (don't know which make without looking), the narrow sort that fits through a doorway. It has a double hood and therefore has the kind of raincover you can just fold up and put underneath in the basket which is very handy. It also folds up neatly and lays nicely on the floor of my fiat ulysses and then my single buggy fits on top of it. My friend who is also a CM bought a tandem which she likes but it doesn't fit quite so neatly into the back of her galaxy.
