After a previous post from this morning someone suggested the idea that I use two middle names.
The name would be Martha Ellen Rosa with Lynch as the surname.
Our baby due in 3 weeks was originally going to be Martha Ellen (Ellen being a family name) but we both fell in love with Rosa and couldn't decide. Martha Rosa just didn't sound right to me. However all three together does.
We already have two boys and this is going to be our last child and therefore our only daughter so I don't want to 'save' any names.

What's your opinion on two middle names?

very fine - mine both have 3!

I'm trying to persuade DH of this at the min - our baby is due in 7 weeks and we've already more or less agreed on names. But if it's a boy I want to give it two middle names after both grandfathers and if it's a girl I want to give it two middle names after both grannies. DH thinks two middle names sounds a bit stupid but I think go for it!! It's not like they're going to be using all three names everyday or anything...

Both of mine have - more names to pick from if they decide later they don't like their first names.

All three of mine have 2 middle names, my 4th will probably have as well.

Both my dcs have two middle names, one honouring family members and one is a first name version of my last name (as dp and I aren't married).
Only problem we have sometimes is filling out forms for them as their names total 27 and 25 letters respectively.
Prince Charles has about 76 middle names, what's good enough for them..!

why not?

lovely names

my 2 youngest dcs each have 2 - i don't expect them to get much use tbh but fun to have them
