Is it short for anything besides Fintan? And what are people's general thoughts on it?

Hedwig3 · 02/07/2010 12:19

Have become a bit bored with these to be honest, sorry.

Personally I'm not keen on Finn names. However there are several to choose from if you do like them. Finbar, Fineas, Fingal, Finlay, Findley, Finian.

My grandmother, who is Finnish and very into her heritage , would enjoy it as well. Am definitely putting it on my short list!

Here mostly girls are called Finley, but I do like it. I think Finn is cool without being too trendy, and short and to the point, which is how I like my boy names. Is it a good brother name for Sam, or are they too different?

Finlay.

Doesn't seem quite as faddy as it was 5 yrs ago, but it's still a bit that way.

I prefer Fintan. Seems much classier.

Isitmeorisither · 01/07/2010 22:47

Lovely name. Finn is cool for a boy but cute too.

nigglewiggle · 01/07/2010 22:45
