Mark Owen called his baby Willow. And his son Elwood. If you like that sort of thing, go for it! Wasn't there a Willow in Buffy?

Kathleen123 · 29/06/2010 13:00

I like Lois best.

sleepyhead3 · 18/06/2010 19:06

Claudia, then Lois.
Not keen on Willow

Claudia, then Lois.
Not keen on Willow

Shame abut Uncle Robin, it's an underused name imo.

BridesheadRegardless · 18/06/2010 09:43

Rowan, or variations of, seem to be very popular for boys in the Asian community.

DS2 has one friend Roan and one Rohan.

sungirltan · 18/06/2010 09:35

i like lois its great, classic and difficult to shorten. i also like claudia but they get called 'claude'

Mookymoo · 18/06/2010 09:31

Claudia and Willow are lovely

NiceCuppaT · 18/06/2010 09:30

Brideshead I've got an uncle Robin so that would be a bit odd!!

I know someone with a dd called Willow (tall willowy girl) and a ds called Rowan.

I think they are both lovely names. I do also like Rowan for a girl.

BridesheadRegardless · 18/06/2010 09:25

I love Claudia. Beautifuland classy.

I quite like Willow although not usually my taste.

Don't like Lois or Rowan, they both seem rather ugly lumpy heavy names to me.

How about Robin? That's a cheeky, bouncy happy name.

NiceCuppaT · 18/06/2010 09:17

DuelingFanjo Lois would definitely be pronounced Low-is and not Loy-s - ekkk!!

pointydog I've never heard Rowan pronouced so that it rhymes with cow-an....it would be row-an!

I like Rowan so much that I'm nicking it for my shortlist . Quite like Willow and Claudia but don't like Lois.

diplodoris · 17/06/2010 21:34

Hmmm, I thought you had, but can't see it now....

diplodoris · 17/06/2010 21:30

You've asked for first and middle name combinations OP, but my favourite first name would be Lois, and I don't think Willow or Rowan would "go" as there would be too much of the "oh" sound (as well as too many L's with Willow and Lois). I don't particularly like Claudia. So, I'd vote for Lois as first name and think of something else for a middle name.

LaDiDaDi · 17/06/2010 21:20

Claudia, Lois, Willow, Rowan would be my order of preference.

pointydog · 17/06/2010 21:18

I love love love Rowan for a girl (to rhyme with cow-an)

Hulababy · 17/06/2010 21:16

From OP I much prefer Willow

NanKid · 17/06/2010 21:15

Lois is my favourite

janeite · 17/06/2010 21:14

Claudia is my favourite from your list.

I love Rowan for a boy but dislike it for a girl.

Wren - really like this.

mathanxiety · 17/06/2010 21:12

Willow and Rowan are my favourites from your list. I like Hazel too, and Laurel. Also like Rowena.

Lois is very plain to my ears, while Claudia sounds a bit harsh.

MunchkinsMumof2 · 17/06/2010 16:41

Lois - not keen

Claudia - really like this

Willow - too new age

Rowan - like

5DollarShake · 17/06/2010 16:20

Lois - not keen, it seems like a slightly lumbering, un-pretty name, but that's just my perception.

Claudia - really like this

Willow - too new age for me, too.

Rowan - love this name for a girl.

sedgiebaby · 17/06/2010 16:04

I like all of them, probably Rowan the most, have you considered Lowen? I prefer it a little
