Tell me so I can steal it please!

DS2 due oct- DH hates the ones I like (Jude, Gabriel) because he says they are girly . He likes Edward and George, which are ovely names but I think I'd like something a bit more unusual.

I also love Seamus (my family is Irish) but it sounds odd with our very English surname!

Sea-O-Ras and its a Scottish name meaning farmer - different from Seamus which is Irish I think?

and Tadgh is Irish and pn is easiest described as saying Tiger but dropping the 'er' at the end ?? means Poet I think

Tobias.

Loved it but exh knew someone he didn't like by that name so vetoed it.

If I ever have another boy (unlikely) I will use it.

Also Felix. DD would have been Felix if she had been a boy.

FionaSH · 06/06/2010 13:27

No probs

hairymelons · 06/06/2010 13:26

nn Art is a fave of mine. Don't like Arthur so much though.

DS1 has my favourite boys name too but it's not v unusual. Just beautiful, sigh...

How do you pronounce Seoras and Tadgh?

Ooh sorry mate, I'd rather not say - I'd rather stay anonymous on MN!

FionaSH · 06/06/2010 13:22

MamaLazarou - what's your DS's name? I wish I'd gotten my way for our DS!!

Oooo I love Herbert too - Herbie is too cute!

MamaLazarou · 06/06/2010 13:21

Elmo definitely needs a revival. We need to reclaim it from the little red furry fellow.

MamaLazarou · 06/06/2010 13:20

Hairymelons, DS has my favourite unusual name. My suggestions above are my second faves!
