noh that's bitty slightly different (she's 14.11m I stopped 14.2 ago.. )

GillyBoot · 01/06/2010 18:24

Bitsy is the breastfeeding joke from Little Britain. I don't think that makes a good nickname.

boodleboot · 01/06/2010 17:55

My Tabitha is now NN'd Bitsy!

MamaLazarou · 31/05/2010 19:01

Tabitha's a lovely name. Tabby is the inevitable nickname, IMO. Or Tabs.

suncreamandagoodbook · 31/05/2010 16:54

Ds was going to be tabitha, but was a boy, so wasn't.... funnily enough when dd came along we'd decided against it. Don't know why as i really like it

MrsSchadenfreude · 31/05/2010 16:52

MrsvWoolf - mine's a Woo as well!

persephoneplum · 31/05/2010 13:29

If I ever have a girl she'll be Tabitha. I don't like the nickname of Tabby. She'd be her full name or perhaps Bibi or Bee.

boodleboot · 31/05/2010 08:12

Biba is great NN also tho it must be said. i lovfe the fact that Tabitha feels like such a feline name cos we are cat bonkers in our house....

(hmm...wondering if Tabitha Moomin is bridge too far.....?!?!?)

...but I'm going to call you Bitsy from now on!

luciemule · 30/05/2010 22:36

My niece is called Tabitha (Tabbie/Tabs NN).
I think it's lovely.

CantSleepWontSleep · 30/05/2010 22:29

Great name to be called. I'm not often shortened but when I am it's to Tabs.

EvilTwins · 30/05/2010 22:28

I have a friend named Tabitha - NN Bith. I've always liked it.

Hedwig3 · 30/05/2010 22:26

Great name, lovely.

Eglu · 30/05/2010 22:20

Love it.

Needaname · 30/05/2010 22:13

Love it.

countrybump · 30/05/2010 20:30

Love it - it was on our list, and would use if we ever have another DD, NN Tabby.

choufleur · 30/05/2010 20:30

Tabby .... cat

WinkyWinkola · 30/05/2010 20:28

If I ever have another dd, she will be Tabitha. Biba for short. Love it.

But then I love Flora, Florence and Eliza too. But perhaps I'll never have to decide between them.

persephonesnape · 30/05/2010 20:27

ooh, if you like Tabitha - our other ideas for subsequent DDs (who turned out to be DS's) were Clementine & Matilda,
