I think Aaron, Lucian, Isaac & Jasper are the nicest. I don’t like Maddox, Thor & Zeke as much.

Arron- still dp's fav - spell it Aaron
Esra/Ezra - don't like it, and why misspell an oveerused name
Isaac - fine
Isaiah - too long, too religious and too vowelly
Jasper - fine
Lachlan/Lauchlin - Lachlan is ok but the Lacklun pronunciation would put me off. I don't understand the Lauchlin spelling.
Lucian - Lucy Anne
Maddox - not keen
Nico - short for Nicodemus or Nicholas, otherwise a bit unisex.
Thor- would you say it Tor or Thor? Quite a name to live up to.
Zeke - no

Hi, my sons called Isaiah pronounced the same as yours but people always pronounce it incorrectly. I regret not spelling it how your sister has with the Z but am I just getting myself worked up over nothing? I feel like he’s got a lifetime of correcting people but my partner says it’ll be a good conversation starter.

Arron- no
Esra/Ezra - no (seems a bit feminine, due to "a" ending, though I know it's not)
Isaac - like, v biblical
Isaiah - lovely, but again, very strong biblical connotations
Jasper - love love love. like Jasper Johns, the pop artist.
Lachlan/Lauchlin - cool. prefer Lachlan.
Lucian - no
Maddox - ok
Nico - no
Thor - I think it's unusual and cool
Zeke - yep, like! but only as a nn

Arron- looks spelt wrong to me

Esra/Ezra - this is not a name I ever thought about! Wow, but it is that wonderful combo of unusual but not made up and easy to say/spell. That is kind of cool. And Ezra Jack Keats is maybe THE most beautiful children's author ever - has there ever been a nicer book than "The Snowy Day" ever?

Isaac - fine, not my fave
Isaiah - fine, not my fave
Jasper - doesn't do it for me

Lachlan/Lauchlin - I think this name gets you into the whole are you or are you not Scottish and do you do big gutteral noises on the "ch" bit dilemma

Lucian - not for me, seems a little pretentious

Maddox - I don't know why, but to me this sounds like a cleaning product

Nico - no, unless a nickname for Nicholas and even then I am dubious

Zeke (Pronounce ZEE-K) is the short version nickname to Isaiah as Dick is to Richard, Bill to William.

The name maybe biblical, but it's a conversation starter and not as common as others.

The only other name I like in your list is Lucian but I would spell it Lucjian (Sweddish)

I love Isaiah, but it is a very religious name. Are you religious? I wouldn't call a child Isaiah if I wasn't, iyswim.

Ditto for Zeke, short for Ezekiel (?).

Ezra is quite nice.

Isaac is much more common these days, but a good name all the same.

Isaac and Lucian are both nice. Thor, Maddox and Zeke are not at all, imho.

Like Nico but think you should give him Nicholas as a full name. Zeke is quite a good name but even OH asks "Is that geek?" every time he comes on screen every night, so imagine what he'll get at school!
Jasper good, Lucian good (but does makes me think Freud). Thir giid if he's the kind of child who can pull it off but unfortunate if not.
