More boys' names needed!

We have a shortlist and a long time to go (19 weeks) but are stuck on three very distinctive boys' names but probably need more to choose from!

Our requirements are nothing New Testament/Christian and nothing too popular.

So far we have:
Quentin
Avi
Barnaby

BTW we don't know the gender but have plenty of girls' names!

Another vote for Quentin. Probably due for a revival in line with Arthur, Albert and other 'old men' names.
Barnaby nice too, but also reminds me of the purple dinosaur.
Not sure about Avi, never heard it before. Is it a name or a nickname?

Really like Quentin. Reminds me of author/illustrator Quentin Blake .

Barnaby ok but a little 'childish' sounding. Avi has a nice sound - is it short for something?

I prefer Barnaby, Quentin nice too, but I'm not sure about Avi.

Really like Quentin. Quinn would be a nice nickname.

Barnaby is ok, reminds me of the purple dinosaur.

Avi is nice if it has some cultural relevance to you (is it Indian?).

Barnaby and Quentin are both lovely. I'm not sure about Avi is ok, but only because I've not heard of it before.

Theo is also very popular.

I like all 3 of your suggestions. Which one goes best with your surname?

Quentin is indeed very popular in France, it is my (French) nephew's name. I like it.

Barnaby is nice too but won't travel as well into other languages, but that may or may not bother you .

I also like Felix, Vincent, Sebastian, although I'm not sure how religious they are.

I like Barnaby and Quentin.

My ds is Quentin. It suits him perfectly . We sometimes shorten to Quin. Not sure if it is getting more popular but it is very popular in France.

I'm less keen on Avi.

There is a Avi in my ds's school who is of Indian origin - not sure if the name is?

I love Quentin. It is getting more popular, though, I know two under the age of 5.

Reminds me of Quentin Tarantino or Quentin Blake - hardly weak or posh .

Barnaby nice too, but Avi sounds a bit feminine to my ears.

None of them are quite to my to my taste but Barnaby is definitely my favourite of the three.
