Caleb

GetOrfMoiLand · 10/05/2010 21:15

Don't like Kaden Jayden Laydon Shmaydon names.

Caleb is a nice name though.

Rockbird · 10/05/2010 21:14

Caiden/Kayden is the Jason of its time. Will date very quickly.

biglips · 10/05/2010 21:12

if we had a boy, it would've of been Caleb

yummymummie1 · 10/05/2010 21:11

thanks magic mountain and mum in the middle as previously stated- it is not made up lol!

MagicMountain · 10/05/2010 21:09

I like it, ym1, it means "little warrior".

muminthemiddle · 10/05/2010 20:59

Caiden does sound made up very chavvy.

Caleb sounds very biblical-way more than Jacob somehow.
Out of the 2 I would go with Caleb but neither conjures up positive images, sorry.

Too fashionable - names like thos go in and out of fashion too quickly.

yummymummie1 · 10/05/2010 19:46

from what i can see caiden is a varient of kayden which is arabic

and caden is a varient of cade which is welsh

and we like it spelt caiden not that it makes much difference!

Caleb is a lovely, lovely name. Think it goes well with Jacob. It was on the shortlist for DS and now you've reminded me I might put it back on if we have another boy.

muggglewump · 10/05/2010 19:31

Because it's chavtastoc. You did ask and if I'm honest, your spelling is not helping me think that a chav name is the way to go.

yummymummie1 · 10/05/2010 19:30

magic mountain - thanks for that on a website i was on it sed it was arabic for 'companion' ? do u like it tho???

OP posts:
bigstripeytiger · 10/05/2010 19:27

I like both.

MagicMountain · 10/05/2010 19:26

Caiden a name that can be traced back to Welsh and old English. Not made up, not new.
