Where to start? Hannah, Ellie, Ella, chloe, Jessica, Grace, Iso/abell/e/a, Beatrice, Debbie although Debra is OK, Muscan and the one that I loathe the most, I can't post as I will out myself.

I have an irrational dislike of the name Alice, which I know is very popular right now and I apologise to anyone with an Alice . I think its a problem unique to me!

I don't like Ella, Ellie, Eleanor, Eva, Eve, Evie.

Don't like Freya.

God, this is one of those threads you look through to find out if your dd's name is on it - and then cry.

I really dislike Patricia. But that's sadly a name I have had to live with as my mum really liked it. I notice it is not one those names that is once again gaining in popularity. I doubt it ever will...

imahappycamper · 10/05/2010 10:43

Why thank you Tactical I am seriously considering changing it but I imagine all my friends and colleagues will presume I am having a midlife crisis. Actually the possibilities are endless I could be Jakki, Jacky, Jackee. Never Jacqueline though unless you are my MUM telling me off.

tacticalfloosy · 10/05/2010 01:21

you've chosen a great name here though darkside
Why can't you be Jackie? all the Jacquelines I have known are Jackie I think? though I like Jacqueline.

darksideofthemooncup · 10/05/2010 01:03

Edna is pretty grim though

darksideofthemooncup · 10/05/2010 01:02

I dislike my own name which is Jacqueline although I am only ever known as Jacqui ( I cringe everytime I have to correct anyone writing it down as they always want to spell it Jackie which is much nicer but me as a pretentious 13 year old decided to change it to the french way of spelling it) And names that I thought were boring as a child like Lisa and Sarah I have come to love for their simplicity and prettiness.

I'll get my tin hat ready
