I think I am going to like it here (first time poster), been lurking for a bit, but I think you guys are funny and don't take it all too seriously like some other ....Amos it is then!!

If a child is going to call another child names, then they're going to do it. They'll do it with any name. Take something harmless, like, er John? Ewww John Thomas. Ewwww willy. You're a willy you are. And if it's not the name it's something else. Your trousers are grey. Ewww, dead squirrels are grey, look at you with your dead squirrel legs.

Amos is a perfectly good, rather lovely name.

Amos and Joe go well together.

Amos is lovely. I REALLY like it.

Don't worry about Emmerdale, Seth for example is v popular and not suffering for the association.

Have to admit first thought was of Emmerdale, but it is a lovely name.
