MimsyStarr · 01/05/2010 14:22

Ahh good, glad they went with my suggestion!

Congrats to the parents...

Meglet · 01/05/2010 08:47

Congrats to all of you.

TrinityMeemaRhino · 01/05/2010 08:43

yes crabb its I-la

TrinityMeemaRhino · 01/05/2010 08:43

well rachael is taking to it like a duck to water

she has been up most of the night breastfeeding which is great fo rher supply but shit for sleep

at about 5.40 I heard the baby crying and thought it would be a perfect time for me to take over and let them get some sleep while my kids are still asleep

so I settled her to sleep and just lay on the couch jiggling her wind up and keeping her asleep till rachael woke up just now

she was very grateful of the kip

Isla is beautiful
feeding well and although very windy she seems to bring it up without much trouble

CheerfulYank · 01/05/2010 02:28

It's usually "I-la" I believe, Crabb.

Oh I'm sooooooo excited, Trinity! Please let us know if there's anything you/they need at all.

crabb · 01/05/2010 02:11

Congatulations! As a recent 'meema' myself Trinity (love the name - I struggled for ages over what to be called) I share your joy. Sorry for the dimness, how is Isla pronounced?

recireci · 30/04/2010 09:48

mathanxiety · 29/04/2010 15:39

Marsali (means Pearl, related to Marjorie)
Greer
Davina
Ailsa

PurplePillow · 29/04/2010 15:18

Craig is Trinity's step son and Rachael is his girlfriend who is having the baby as we speak

So yes they will need the cotbed sooner rather than later

Not heard anything from them for a few hours so hopefully all is progressing well

Will let you know of any further developments

Eglu · 29/04/2010 13:44

Ooh just remembered the one Scottish name I really love

Eilidh

It's a fab name. DH won't allow it for me, just cos he can't spell it.

Eglu · 29/04/2010 13:40

I don't like many Scottish names, but I do like Catriona, pronounced the same way as MmeLindt.

But can someone catch me up. Who are Craig and Rachael? And I'm assuming they'll be needing this cotbed I'm collecting pretty quickly.

StarExpat · 29/04/2010 12:15

I like Ishbel and Ainsley. Some celebrity used Isla recently, didn't they? I don't keep up with all that but someone who was considering the name recently mentioned that. I know of 4 baby Islas. But it is a pretty name.

PurplePillow · 29/04/2010 12:10

Just to let you all know Rachael is in hospital as of 5am this morning, labour going well Craig and Trinity are there with her,(was 2-3 cms dilated at 9am)

Contractions were strong and regular and Trinity even coped when Rachael was sick.

Waiting for more news from them and will post as soon as I hear anything more

We are all soooo excited

MmeLindt · 29/04/2010 12:10

I have a Catriona (pronounced Cat-ri-ona) NN Cat.

How exciting, you must all be on tenterhooks (whatever they are)

imahappycamper · 29/04/2010 12:04
