Should Theo be Theodore on the birth certificate?

I am due in 9 weeks. I love Theo, but I am struggling to get past the Chipmunks theme tune thanks to my younger sister. (Alvin, Simon, Theodore...)

Also - does Theodore Christopher work? Is Max Christopher better?

Help!

Deffo use the full name Theodore so he has a choice in future.

Both work fine with Christopher but I personally prefer the name Max.

Both sound fine to me (without konwing what the surname is). Theodore is a gorgeous name, I'd definitely put it on the birth certificate - but because I like it, not because I think you have to.

I'm not overly bothered about popularity to be honest. It has taken too long to find names I like! It's so hard!

I would always use a full name on a birth certificate. I'm quite shocked when people actually put down 'Archie' rather than Archibald as the former is really just a NN.

Both Theo and Max are too popular imo. But in any case I prefer using the longer version on the bc.
