Well? I can't decide between the two.

Mabel, tallulah sounds a bit.....(like something Jessie Wallace called her daughter)...

pamelat · 19/04/2010 20:19

Mabel is lovely.

Paulinespens · 19/04/2010 19:36

They're both pretty hideous but if I really had to choose, Mabel.

sassysass · 19/04/2010 18:11

I like both.

I'd probably go for Mabel.

zozzle · 19/04/2010 17:52

Neither.

Mabel is taking granny chic too far imo - I think prim, blouse done up to chin etc - sorry!

Tallulah is a bit more spunky (although possibly a lapdancer) but I do quite like it I guess.

LouMacca · 19/04/2010 16:44

It is a strange combination.

My friends SIL has boys called George & Kyle and I am for the same reason.

Galena · 19/04/2010 16:32

I guess I should come clean. I know someone who called her DDs these and I was a bit about the combination. I wondered what other sane people would think.

Sorry but I think they are both awful for different reasons.

Magaly · 19/04/2010 15:04

And more slebs have just used Tallulah. Carly Zucker and joe Cole. Nothing against them at all,btu it just makes it such a sleb choice.

OP, you there? you still deciding?

zayja · 18/04/2010 17:07

Like both, probably Tallulah better. What about Maybelle or Mabeline?

muminthemiddle · 16/04/2010 23:37

Not keen on either.

Surprise · 16/04/2010 20:09

Tallulah is a bit [whispers] chav imo. Mabel is the best choice.

KAEKAE · 16/04/2010 19:28

I love Tallulah...Mabel I dislike.

Ineedsomesleep · 16/04/2010 11:01

Please choose Mabel. Tallulah is just awful.

CakeandRoses · 16/04/2010 10:47

Mabel is great and the poss nn May is lovely too. I guess it could become v popular though.

I adore Tallulah but our DC would be called it over my DH's dead body. Very few people seem to share our liking for the name, e.g. a friend recently sniggered 'The little girl over there is called Tallulah. How ridiculous!'

deaddei · 15/04/2010 13:47

Mabel is MIL'S name. Be warned.
Tallulah sounds like she works in a nightclub, offering favours.

theagedparent · 15/04/2010 13:45

Tallulah

BettyButterknife · 15/04/2010 13:40

Mabel, definitely. Tallulah is in the Lola bracket for me - sounds too much like a good-time girl

How about Clover? I love that name.

tiredpooky · 15/04/2010 13:31

Tallulah, no question!

posieparker · 15/04/2010 13:24

phew! None of my dcs names make those lists!

lljkk · 15/04/2010 13:24

I dislike both but Tallulah is marginally more tolerable (still a chicken's name, though).

Has Mabel made the stats now then? Damn!

If I had another girl she would be Posy... alas 4 c sections and withered finances mean no more!!

wilbur · 15/04/2010 12:12

Mabel
