Used to really like Mork and Mindy as a kid.

I know an Amanda (Mandy) know as Mindy by some. Not keen on it as just Mindy TBH.

Maybe as abbreviation for Melinda, but don;t sopecially like Mindy or Melida, sorry. Mork and Mindy sprinsg to mind straight away. Maybe I am just showing my advanced age.
