First a disclaimer in that I don't know if this name is spelt correctly, if it's foreign, if it's made up or anything. But I think I like it! What do you think of it? It's Remynie.

Remony I can make my peace with.

Remynie - not so much.

DorotheaPlenticlew · 23/03/2010 19:57

I can see how Remony would be pronounced. Still not clear how Remynie would sound though -- same pronunciation, or different?

mathanxiety · 23/03/2010 19:52

Rimini is in Italy?

Phlox · 23/03/2010 19:11

DD is called Remony. It is of scottish origin (Estate in Perthshire). Obviously I love it!

Her friends call her Rem, we call her Rems.

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 23/03/2010 17:55

Yeah I wasn't sure about the spelling, Remony sounds nice too, don't know if dp would go for it. And my traditional welsh mil would no doubt hate it!

Oh, Remony is quite nice.

I think I like Romy or Elodie better though

MmeLindt · 23/03/2010 17:53

Remony is an estate in Perthshire

MmeLindt · 23/03/2010 17:51

Remony is prettier than Remynie which looks a bit made up tbh.

brimfull · 23/03/2010 17:51

like Lemony but in chinese

JamesAndTheGiantBanana · 23/03/2010 17:50

I guess you pronounce it like remedy? Only seen it written down. Can't stop thinking about it.
