Brother or Sister for Verity

We are on team yellow and can't seem to agree on a name for Verity's little brother or sister.

DH likes Imogen, Phoebe, Tamsin, Hugo, Elliot and altho I don't mind any of these they aren't 'the one'.

I want to find a name which like Verity is relatively unusual but everyone has heard of and a name where spelling isn't an issue. Does anyone have any suggestions?

Our sn is 1 syllable and begins with an M so 1 syllable fn's ten to be out as they sound too blunt together.

It doesn't really matter that the nn is only 1 syllable. We call Verity 'V' a lot of the time anyway. In an ideal world I suppose the nn would be 1+ syllable but I don't want to narrow the field too much as ultimately you never know what nn the child will end up with anyway.

I really like Cecily but not sure if it's too rhymey with Verity?

I like Christabel (nn Belle, not Chris) a lot too and Felix.

A lot of M names don't sound right with our sn for some reason altho Meredith doesn't sound too bad. Maybe it's the 3 syllables? Unfortunately Meredith to me is a sn.

Elizabeth and Olivia are out for family reasons. Olivia is a bit too popular for me too.....I know quite a few under 5 already.

Thanks for the suggestions tho they are great.

At my old school there were three sisters called Verity, Elizabeth and Olivia. Lovely names i thought

Marianne or am I the only one that likes a bit of alliteration? If not, how about

Are you also wishing to avoid names with obvious one syllable nicknames eg Matthew?

I know 2 Veritys and both have brothers called Felix.

Verity is lovely.

I know a family with a Verity, Martha & Louis.

I like Phoebe with Verity too.

Verity is a lovely name. I'd say Cecily sounds like her sister!
