Are your children’s vaccines up to date?
lowrib · 18/03/2010 23:10

Or how about ...

Atticus
Tawno
Ezra
Elliot

McBitchy · 18/03/2010 23:00

don't think anyone was suggesting it as a name

Quinn was the suggestion

lowrib · 18/03/2010 23:00

GladioliBuckets you beat me to it! I was going to suggest the Welsh version of Oisin too.

Or there's the Scottish version as well, Ossian, which can be pronounced Oshan, Ossian, or Oshian.

Lovely name, with a great story behind it.

Here are some other suggestions:

Rowan / Rohan
Dara
Innes
Niall
Eden
Elias
Arlo
Kelvin
Tadhg (sounds like the beginning of Tiger)
Aldous

MamaLazarou · 18/03/2010 22:06

GladioliBuckets · 18/03/2010 19:55

In case he's not so fussy about exact gaelic origins, there's the Welsh Osian pronounced Oshan.

I thought quim was fanjo

sassysass · 18/03/2010 19:46

And Jethro was the name of our coasteering guide in Wales... lovely bloke and very easy on the eye!

shockers · 18/03/2010 18:10

Rollo is also Dido's brother... wasn't Dido the name of an Irish queen? Parents must have had delusions of grandeur

Hullygully · 18/03/2010 18:06

Alfonsio Deliquescent III

Hippolytus Blanqu

Desperado Alistair

Clarissimo · 18/03/2010 18:04

Sadly jethro could be a nice name except it makes me think of annoying cornish comedians

And rollo is king rollo

tip one: have children young, less dodgy associations to make with names when you've been around less
