OK we need Mel Lee, Terri - shortened to tel.

Sorry getting worse - If it helps I (seriously) had Skye instead but with McLeod... - not good and then even had Connor for a boy - which if you've seen Highlander (I've still not) isn't good

love love love Lois - it is strong, cool, yet feminine! Definitely on the list, but we are just waiting to TTC (medical issues).

Don't know how DP would feel about it though. He has a boy's name picked out.

No-one has suggested Peggy yet..
I was going to suggest Emma, then realised child would spend her life saying "not Emily, Emma Lee "

EdgeofReason · 17/03/2010 21:04

Don't go with Annabel, Isabel etc... as last part of name will be 'belly'

I share your pain as my favourite girls name is Sophia but Sophie is already in use by close family, ditto Charlotte.

I think Eloise Eliza Charlotte Laura etc sound nice and classic

Please don't go with the suggestion Dido. I work in a school and it'll be no time until that extra letter is added!

HelenDoula · 13/03/2010 23:41

Names I heard at the park today ...Maggie + Jolie but you should call your baby the name you love the most regardless of close friends/relatives etc ! my mum had a neice called Helena & desp wanted to call me Helen, which she did as my Grandmother told her under no uncertain terms - your baby you name her what you like !!!
