Did you? Why?

How do you feel when others then spell the name ?correctly? in the recognised, established way?

Just curious!

I don?t understand it either. Both my DCs have standard names with standard spellings, yet they both seem to get ?imaginatively? spelt all the time. I just wanted to know if the same happened the other way around.

It doesn't bother me at all how people spell their childrens names .why would it ?

I detest it when people deliberately miss-spell names in a pathetic meaningless attempt to be 'different'. Its not cool, its pointless and just causes a lifetime of problems.

i spelled my DD1's name the way i did because she is a dual national and in my native country if i spelled it the recognised why people would call her a body part.

Personally I hate it when people do that. Just smacks of trying too hard.
