So, channeling Fenella Fudge from Radio 2, I think I might fancy an alliterative name for my possible daughter. (I'm pretty sure it's a gal.)

I quite like, um, unusual names. So the kind of thing most MNers hate.

Cheers!

Ooh, thanks Cranky. 'Tis a new one on me.

crankytwanky · 28/02/2010 23:04

Oh, you know, Bimi, like when you wear lycra and you say "I'm channeling Olivia Newton John".
(Bad example, but it's late!)

Fleur
(Fflur is stupid)

lowrib · 28/02/2010 22:50

Farren - means adventurous or wanderer (English)

Feronia - goddess of spring and the woods (Latin)

lola0109 · 28/02/2010 22:26

Ponders I am so glad you told me that, off to try and talk DP into it again, 4 weeks to go and still no name ideas so Fyfa is back on my list!!

BimiBluebell · 28/02/2010 21:35

Fleur gets my vote too (as in Fleur Forsyte - or should that be 'channeling Fleur Forsyte'? I am still by that one).

Ponders · 28/02/2010 18:16

Fabia's a Skoda, innit?

Fleur is lovely

crankytwanky · 28/02/2010 18:02

OK, so I suggested Fabia to DH & his sis who was here today and they both said "Labia" in unison!

We all like Fleur.

Frances is a fab name - lots of nice abbreviations for a little one, but a proper strong grown-up name for a woman later

My favourite F name is Fyfa, but DP won't agree on the alliteration and apparently it was the name of a rabbit in Watership Down.

Please use it
