As a first name, not popular at all.

As a middle name, ubiquitous and as common as that other default middle name Rose.

Both are lovely and simple as stand-alones, but yawningly boring as middle names.

Don't spell it Mae though- that's try-too-hard.

About 6 under 4yrs old then another 10 ish with it has a middle name.
