The endless boys name debate rumbles on. . . .

DH and I are struggling to decide between these three names. We have a very, very common surname akin to Smith.

Thoughts please?

Wilfred. My FIL was a lovely old gentleman, that was his name.

Wilfred - love that name

Flightattendant · 10/02/2010 17:28

They are all good. Have you got a middle name to work with?

shockers · 10/02/2010 17:23

Hugo.

Hugo or Wilfred.

GladioliBuckets · 10/02/2010 17:19

Wilfrid.
Have you thought about Howard?

mathanxiety · 10/02/2010 16:41

Hugo.

Wilfred and Wilbur are unattractive names imho. They are both ok for little kids or dogs but I don't think he'll thank you when he's older. Hugo is ok.

Wilfrid is nice, but they are pets names really

Not Wilbur

I think I like Wilfred best, but Hugo good too

belgo · 10/02/2010 15:37

Wilfred is the most flexible for nicknames.
