Rufus? Any thoughts

Hi Guys,

Still very undecided on boys names - we don't know the sex but we need to be prepared. The only one we agree on at present is Rufus and it goes well with our surname. Like that it is not so popular but quite cool.

What do you think?

I find it a bit woofy, but that's not necessarily a bad thing. I love my name and have met more pets than people who share it! No, I think it's quite classy really.

Love the name, but strangely it makes me think of mddle-aged, beardy types!

I LOVE it but my DH said no. I am a huge Rufus Wainwright fan though, maybe that's why I like it!

I know a lovely little redheaded Rufus.

We have one so I'm biased - I love it.

I know of two others of a similar age though where we live (in the SE, and although I call him Rufus darling, my housekeeper does the Waitrose shop ). I am irrationally irritated by this discovery, especially as one of them will be in my son's year at school (his parents are friends and so I know that they're aiming for the school where my older two are already!!)

Depends on where you live. If you will be shouting Rufus Dahling in Waitrose he will probably fit in well.
